I stopped by here while passing through Carrerie on a business trip. Really enjoyed my time here, the fried chicken and peach cobbler were down right delicious!
Over all, this is a lovely little mom-'n-pop country buffet with incredibly sweet wait staff ❤️

The food on the buffet was delicious, there were many options, a full salad , soup , entrees ,sides and dessert bar of home cooked treats at a very reasonable price. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly.

Nothing was fresh. Nothing was hot. Got there around 5:45 when restaurant closed for 8, expecting the buffet to be adequately stocked. Wow! We were so disappointed as this restaurant has an excellent reputation. It will be a very long time before we go back!
My daughter came across the video on social media and the food looked delicious, we decided to take the short drive from Bogalusaheadstone La, the best decision we could of made, was greeted with a warm welcome, the wait wasn't too long even tho it was a very busy Friday, everyone and everything was on point, food was seasoned to perfection, buffet stayed full at all times, workers made sure all your needs were met, the manager was working just as hard as everyone else, very professional in all ways, was just there on August 15, 2025 and will definitely be taking that trip from Bogalusa La, more often!

I was shockingly surprised….This is a very small buffet…but when I tell u everything that I tried was seasoned perfectly (which means a lot)…..The prices are reasonable and the customer service was great as well…..I most definitely will be returning…
