It’s been a while since I’ve eaten here, but this is my favorite places to eat in Charleston! All of the food is delicious, but Mr. James Paul’s Seafood Gumbo was my favorite dish & Ms. Kay’s mother’s homemade Chocolate Pie was always a must... no matter how stuffed my belly was! Very friendly atmosphere!!!
Went there with party of six. We all choose some type of seafood. Got crab claws for the appetizer and will probably do it again when we go back. The fried oysters and fried shrimp were excellent. One person got frog legs and he said yhey were top notch.The wait staff was friendly and helpful. It was a most positive dining experience. Wanted a slice of the chocolate pie but just didn't have room for it. Maybe next time.
