The food was delicious and the service was next level. The owner is a great dude. Very friendly and accommodating. He makes his own Italian sausage and it is incredible. The place is going through some changes right now, but it was a great experience.

Visit Hick's Tamales for good tamales, the owner has been in business a long time. He was friendly and even showed my family around the restaurant. The food was out of this world delicious. You wouldn't expect anything else from a man who has been in business a long time. Highly recommend

I don't know how you can pass this off as a tamale, we're from Texas this is nothing like I've seen. Tasted like something out of a can with some extra seasoning thrown on it and sitting in a bucket of Grease nastiest thing I've tried in a while base this stop on previous comments on Google something went wrong somewhere

Very quiet unassuming place in Clarkadale....Drive up window....ordered 6 tamales to go and they were very tasty....they weren't the size of regular tamales but they were still good. I'd like to try the rib tips but they didn't have them that day.

Their Google page says they are open, but no one is there. Was really looking forward to trying the hot tamales. Will try again, I guess.

That's all we got because they don't serve the whole menu during the week. The guy at the window was super friendly! The way you get into the place is a little confusing that's my only complaint but it's totally worth the hassle I'm telling you. I will be going here again. If they would have been open when we finished them we would have went back for another dozenn!
