Best food we had on a trip from New Orleans to Memphis. The blackened catfish was spectacular, they served a great salad and the shrimp grits was great.

From Nashville and I would never suggest this place to anyone visiting. I'm really not sure how this place has such high reviews. First, the inside of the building doesn't look like it's up to code AT ALL. The inside alone will give a very icky vibe. The outside was cute but with the delta mosquitoes, I would rather just not eat outside. Secondly, the waitress was very friendly, but also very slow. There were multiple times throughout this experience we wanted to order more drinks, and she was just nowhere to be found. And let me add this. The drinks are extremely overpriced for what they are. They are literally basic drinks anywhere in this entire world, but this restaurant has put extravagant names on basic drinks with outrageous prices. To top it all off within hours of eating here my boyfriend became extremely sick when he only ate a burger. After this experience, we both decided will stay to what we know is good in town, which is the Dutch oven (where the shrimp and grits are good and don't cost and arm and a leg) and the Mexican restaurant! I do not recommend this place at all unless you want to leave disappointed.

For my first visit, the food was ok, but it could've used more seasoning. I had the fried catfish plate. Fish was fried to perfection just need more

My wife and I went, and she had the catfish and I the salmon. Very tasty. I knocked one star because for a $24 and $28 plates, they should have real silverware. It was near close on Sunday, but the plastic knife fork and spoon in the wrapper just ruined it for me.

This place is a gem in the heart of Clarksdale. The staff is very friendly and attentive. And there is seating available both inside and out. But the real story is the food.Starting with the appetizers, we sampled the Buffalo Eggplant and Mushrooms and loved the flavor profile of this dish. Especially when you paired it with an ice cold beer. For my entrée, I selected the Blackened Catfish. Wow! So tender and spiced perfectly. And married well with the rice and cream sauce.I highly recommend.

The food here is good. The building is nice. The bartender is great. The rest of the service is terrible. Our food was delivered and we were never checked on again. We wanted a drink. We wanted desert. We wanted to pay our bill. No one ever came to our table. I finally asked the bartender if I could just pay him so we could leave. He is the only person who took care of us.

Great food and great atmosphere, the service was amazing. They have a stellar food. Steaks and fish and they have a bartender that know his stuff.

Really liked this place! They have a decent number of vegetarian options, including a vegetarian burger, and plenty of sides and desserts. A nice place to eat while you're in Clarksdale, Mississippi.

Absolutely top notch experience. The interior is warm and welcoming. The cocktails are delicious. The food is delicious. Most importantly, the front of the house is well run. Our server (Sara) was friendly and attentive. The kitchen was slowed the night we stopped in by a 20-top reservation that turned into 40 people an event that would destroy most places. Hooker handled it properly - keeping us informed and hydrated while the kitchen caught up. A top notch experience and a must stop in Clarksdale.

Wow, great place for dinner. The blackened catfish Po boy was outstanding! Really great atmosphere, and super food. I will go back. Easy to get to, and easy parking.
