If you’re a foodie, finding yourself in the Mississippi Delta, check out Levon’s.My first time here, I decided to try the Blackened Catfish with grits. I had never had grits before, and I became an instant fan.Since then, I’ve liked other grits (and find that not all grits are worthy of your liking of course, but nothing compared to this meal. I also had the Buffalo shrimp. So good!I just visited this place for the second time, and I had to go back to the Blackened Catfish...
The gumbo was good and spicy - very flavorful. The catfish bites were well seasoned and crispy. My only complaint was that I my cocktail seemed pretty virgin.Will be on the lookout for featured menu items so I can return and try some more of their dishes.
I had one of the best meals ever in Clarksdale last week at Levons. There is so much love in the food, thoughtfulness in the staff and good vibes all around. The chicken slider appetizer was perfect!!
