We stopped for breakfast. This was one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. The hash browns were perfectly crispy, the eggs were over easy like they should be, the sausage was excellent, and the pancake was light and fluffy. Like many restaurants, it appears that they can not hire enough help and it was a bit disorganized, but the locals who eat breakfast there were serving coffee and helping out where they could. There were groups of men at various tables who were laughing and teasing with one another. This was a real hometown restaurant. The owner, Paula was the nicest person. I wish I could eat here every day.

45 minutes for a simple 2 eggs 3 pieces of bacon and toast. Upon arrival the deliver me the order complete wrong. Than they brought me my order within 2 minutes and the food was very cold. That means the food has been sitting there for quite some time. Lots of elderly people comes here. Please management step up and improve your service. The food taste wasn't the best 5 out of 10 they have the biggest advantage in town. They're the only ones who cook breakfast. Wait until someone else open a breakfast place and this one will be out of business within months.

Either this place is over hyped or I just came at the wrong time. Mac and cheese was dry, catfish was cold, and I'm not sure why I was given cornbread with my meal. The only thing I enjoyed was my Arnold Palmer and coleslaw.

What a gem of a place! If you are driving through Clarksdale, it is about four mins off the interstate and worth a visit. We stopped in for breakfast and had a Kibbie omelette and pork chop. An interesting blend of Lebanese and Mississippi Delta cuisine one of a kind. Kind and attentive wait staff.

Excellent experience. Step back to a simpler time with wholesome food. The menu is vast and you I'll definitely want to try the lunch plates. Service is incredible and the food is even better these folks have been doing it right since 1947.

I love Rest Haven! They make me feel like family. Food is always on point service has never been less than awesome. Favorite food in my favorite semi local town to eat out. Every menu item has been perfect. Just close your eyes and point at any menu item.

We had a similar experience as Joanna and Dave below. Sat for 25 minutes total without anyone coming to our table. Wife went over after 15 minutes and the waitress said she'd be with us in a minute. Asked for a menu and she repeated that she'd be there in a minute. Well, 10 minutes later and nothing. So we left.
