Great Experience - The French Toast was one of the best servings I’ve have over my 37 years of living - the eggs were FRESH and taste different (as in better) than normal ??♂️ no complaints at all. I highly recommend this place - coming from Ga my only complaint would be - they don’t serve grits (very very very disappointing for me) lol

Update:
I am adjusting my overall review because management's thoughtful reply to our concerns. I don't think our experience is the norm, and I'm hopeful our next visit will be spot on all the way around.
Regarding the food and service, maybe we caught them on an off day. My wife and I had just arrived in Clarksdale for our first visit. We were hungry and looking for lunch on a Saturday, around 11-ish. Yazoo Pass was the only place we found open, so in we went. First off, we didn't know if it was seat yourself, wait to be seated or order at the counter. We figured it out after walking around clueless for a bit. It's order at the counter. At the counter, there was a sign touting Today's Special is Gyros and chips. Both of us clearly said Gyro special with fries. We ordered, paid, got our drinks and sat down.
Then, a youngster brought our food out. We were looking at two turkey cold cut sandwiches with Italian dressing. I tried to explain that our order was wrong, that we'd both ordered the gyro special with fries. He then advised me that that was yesterday's special and that the signs hadn't been updated. Ok, I understand that. But, that doesn't explain how the youngster that took our order confused us clearly saying gyros when we ordered.
The young person serving us didn't know how to handle it. We were too hungry to fuss, wait for another order, so we ate. The tea was good, the fries hot and crispy. The sandwich was a nondescript cold cut turkey and cheese sandwich, with Italian dressing. We still left a 20 % tip, rounding us up to a $40 tab.
The two youngsters running the place couldn't have been a day over 15, if that. They have no idea about service industry basics. It's not their fault. If there was an adult on hand, we didn't see them. We went on to enjoy fantastic food and wonderful hospitality everywhere we went in Clarksdale.
I gave the atmosphere two stars because the place felt like a hotel lobby lounge with piped in soft jazz Muzak. I know that atmosphere is mostly subjective and that it's just my opinion.

Vegetarian options: Coffee (“for here”) is served in a Mug - I like a place that does not require you make more garbage in order to have coffee. Espresso machine. Having early Sunday good coffee in this historical hysterical town of Clarksdale. What a great place to explore American music. Lotta older folks out adventuring. Yahoo is Nice and cool music is very low lots of room comfortable booths, tables for two and four lots of locations to have your coffee. Cement floor and carpet. Rattan lunch room.
Kid-friendliness: Lots of room seems easy to bring a kid though probably caters to a kid less crowd.
Wheelchair accessibility: Lots of room. Doors are not electric

We ate here twice during our trip to Clarksdale. Breakfast and Dinner. On both occasions the food and drink was excellent and the welcome and service too. The dinner was particularly good. The food was some of the very best we've experienced on a long road trip through the south and our waiter was outstanding. We left feeling happy and satisfied.. .. walked across the street to hear some amazing blues. Clarksdale is such a cool place.

We came for birthday desert. We were greeted by 2 welcoming faces. They did not have the requested pecan pie. But look at what they did have. It was so good. We can't wait to come back for dinner. Thank you

Took my mom there for her birthday and it reminded us of home, back in the Pacific Northwest. The food was excellent, the staff was great, and the atmosphere was wonderful. Hands down the best place we've been to since moving down here to Helena, AR. I can't say enough about the great menu, quality of food and wonderful staff, it was an exceptional dinner and worth the trip!
