Visited Uncle Jo's while attending a Delta State football game. I was not disappointed. The food was amazing and the staff treated you as if we had been friends for decades. Highly recommend this establishment. I will be a returning customer.

Outstanding food! The hamburger steak with onions & gravy gives you an idea of their approach….they serve Southern comfort food & use a few culinary arts tricks to remind you that there’s a chef involved, not a cook, although Joey “Uncle Jo” Lamb eschews pretension. To give you an idea of Uncle Jo’s skills, the hamburger steak tastes like the kitchen grinds its own meat, & the sautéed green beans on the side are not something you’d see at a meat-and-three café in other small towns. The portions are also ample. There are lots of seafood options well, and a wide selection of burgers, salads, and sandwiches. They also infuse cajun & creole into their dishes to remind diners that the Gulf & New Orleans are just a few hours drive down Highway 61; lots of crawfish in the sauces. Appetizers like zucchini & feta fritters and boudin balls and desserts like honey bun bread pudding and cookie dough egg rolls show their wide culinary influence. The laid back atmosphere & decor means everybody is welcome—they have a busy takeout trade as well. If you are in town for business in Cleveland, definitely stop in. You won’t be disappointed.
Our absolute FAVORITE place to eat as a family! Everything is good - hamburger steak, redfish, all the sammies, and Joey’s specials are usually always worth trying something new!
Best seafood in town and the service is phenomenal!
We stopped in with a group of 6 people. Everyone loved their food, appetizers and dessert. Will definitely be stopping in again next time we are in town!
The food was great and the service is fantastic, really nice people!
Great atmosphere and great people. Food is always great. I’ll recommend to anyone at anytime
Somehow I've ended up eating here three times in the last month with different groups of people who independently chose it and invited me. Each time I've ordered something different and thus far have enjoyed everything I've tried. (Delicious!) This is obviously a very comfortable place to visit with others over lunch or dinner. It's nostalgic in decor with both booths and tables available. . Service was promptly attentive and great, I found the wait staff to be very friendly and helpful. I suspect I will be here again in the near future! Enjoyed it. No complaints!
