The best and most authentic I’ve had outside of Mexico. Wonderful flavors! I drove an hour and a half and was not disappointed. This was my first time and I got the lengua and the quesobarria tacos. There was plenty of room for our book club to meet and it looked like there were to go orders being picked up. I will be back 100%

I had mexican soup at lunch time. Soup was awesome. Soup consisted of beef meat,corn on the cob,zucchini, potatoes and carrots. Simmered in its own stock flat out fabulous. Will definitely be returning. Store/restaurant was clean. So much to choose from.

It was good, authentic Mexican! It was a little confusing at first because it is half restaurant half store. You walk in and go to the restaurant that is to the left and order at the counter.

I always leave happy with the food and the service but today I leave 100 times happier because my favorite part is the salsa and the chips. I don't know who made the sauce today, May 24th ? But it was the best Mexican sauce I have ever eaten in my life. I even took it home

Cant rate food, service , or atmosphere... because we were lied to on mother's day 2024. We were lied to by Los parrilleros in clinton about when they closed so we decided to try a Mexican restaurant we've never tried el patron in clinton .. and since no one treated her to a gift, I just had to find a restaurant open... So I got on Google and found this place... a place we've never tried.. realizing how the websites clearly aren't accurate on closing times from past experiences, I decided to call ( as I did with Los parrilleros) he said kitchen closes at 930pm ... we walked in and they said closed
So here we sit at Applebee's in clinton... not mexican... but at least they are open and my wife will be happy!it's 925pm ?

i went on a not so busy day . the place was clean . the staff was very nice and the birria and steak tacos were amazing along with the rice. I love that the togo orders come with chips and salsa a lot of places don’t do that here .
Really great place. Birria tacos were so good. The thing is I took my Hispanic friend there and our waiter only talked to my friend in their language which was rude. Still gave a tip because I know how that feels. But even though the food was good I don’t think I’m going to return.

Most Mexican places all taste the same to me but their happy plate has grilled onions and red & yellow peppers! It’s really good!

Visted on 3/19/24 service was excellent and food was on point and freshly made. I couldn’t ask for better service. Mateo was a great waiter even though we had to translate a bit. This little hole in the wall beats out Picantés and Salsa’s hands down. This is now my go to spot for Mexican food. The only thing it is lacking (personal preference) is lengua and barbacoa tacos. I prefer my Mexican as authentic as I can get where as local folks are accustom to the mundane and non seasoned foods that are offered.It is tucked back across from Walmart in Clinton,MS by down range tactical gun store and the parking is messed up but he food and service is most definitely worth it.They will get my support and I will do my best to help them prosper in this struggling economy.
