This was one of the best places we have been in Laurel! Barry was so friendly and helpful and the food was fabulous!! Best gumbo I have EVER had and the desserts were to die for!! My favorite was the strawberry cake but they were all good with the cool whip frosting. We also tried the fried bologna, the chicken salad and the rib eye steak sandwiches which were divine! Thanks for a great experience Barry!! We will be back

Called to see if they could accommodate a last minute order for a simple, naked cake with light/swiss buttercream. Tried to keep it simple as possible to prevent too much work. The girl that answered was rude and said she was too busy to take orders over the phone. Such an inconvenience to have business I guess. Apparently this bakery has never heard of Swiss buttercream? Ok...Had someone pick up the cake and What we got was a fully iced plain cake. Not even what we ordered. I tried to call and they didn’t even bother answering. I guess this is to be expected from a small town “bakery”. I guess they are busy enough to not care about a potential life time customer.

Strawberry cake with choc covered strawberries was AMAZING! It was a huge hit at my husbands birthday party. Several people said it was the best cake they’ve ever had!

We stopped in on a whim on the way to visit family for Christmas and so glad we did! We managed to snag the very last strawberry cake and it’s INCREDIBLE!! Highly recommend.
