As a former restaurant owner, I thought people would want to know about my husband's and my visit on 1/3/25, at about 2:00pm. There were only 2 ladies dining at one table, but I could not find a clean table. I gathered paper towels in front of the clerk and got water from the drink fountain. I cleaned and dried the booth closest to the drink fountain, with the dark haired counter clerk within 10 feet and clear view. She never offered to clean the table for us. There were used utensils on the floor under several tables. Then an adult babysitter came in with 4 or 5 of the counter clerk's children. Two of them were running from front dining room to the kitchen --never walking--and the little one was constantly yelling. The counter clerk was also calling loudly to someone in the kitchen that she was cashing her $267 paycheck in the register drawer. Customers should not hear personal business of the employees, and they don't want to hear the screaming and running around of unruly children. We asked for go boxes and left without finishing our meals and probably will not be back. BTW the mashed potatoes and gravy were bland. The other food was pretty good (red beans, green beans, fried fish broccoli and crab cakes). I hope the owners have a talk with the counter help about professionalism and sanitation/cleanliness, if they want to make a good first impression.
Roast beef was very dry no flavor. And very messy.

Good food with fair prices
Portions were generous for the cost. The ribs were tender and the shrimp was plentiful. The chicken tenders could have had a little more colour for my liking but they were tender and tasty. The fries were just right. The fried pickles were great!

Got there a little before end of day & that's what they gave the ends been customer many years called young lady told didn't care hate losing Ole friends but thats the end
Catfish was bland, red beans and rice is just white rice with a can of red beans poured over them.. not good, fried okra was ok, but the fried onion rings were pretty good. Not Cajun food at all. I would've rathered Ramey's plate lunch from down the street. On top of the below mediocre food, someone in the back was yelling and screaming at the cashier. Showing nothing but disrespect to the lady. I will definitely not be back.

Worst ribs that I've ever had. Bland with no season. The appearance of the ribs will fool you because they did look good but they didn't taste up to par. I will try some of their other foods and if I like it, my review will change.
It has delicious food, and kind staff.

The food is fabulous and the staff is amazing! I've been here twice this week and eaten two different meals. Both were so good. Thank you for making my trip through Columbia, MS so much better!
I had the lunch special with the crawfish etufee, and it was divine. My husband had the chicken plate and loved it as well. Food was ready fast, staff friendly and amazing, and every table clean. If visiting the area for any reason I highly recommend you come here to eat!
