Best Place to Eat!! Seriously the friendliest, nicest people own this place and make everyone feel at home! The atmosphere gives off a comfortable, friendly.. at granny’s house vibe! And the FOOD!!! You’ll never ever ever eat better friend pork chops, HOME MADE MASHED TATERS AND GRAVY!! Butter beans and more! EVERYTHING I HAVE EATEN HAS BEEN MELT IN YOUR MOUTH DELICIOUS, try it, you’ll agree and leave a review bragging also!! lol If it moved three counties over I’m afraid I would have to move to!! Just to be able to eat here every day I can afford to eat period!!! “Not a lot as single broke needs four more jobs” mom!! So you know if I buy something it better be worth it, and R House is!!!

We were driving home and noticed a busy parking lot, so we decided to give this place a try. To our surprise, it was really good! Our burgers were great, with fresh summer tomatoes, but the star was definitely the pork ribs. We’re picky about BBQ, but we gave it a shot, and it was delicious. Smoky, juicy, and the sauce didn’t cover up the flavor, it brought it out. Definitely coming back for more!

Wonderful dinner on a Saturday! Great food and good prices. My family of 5 chose R House for dinner tonight. The group includes my parents, myself and other half, as well as my 8 year old daughter. We are from out of town but frequently visit the area. My daughter and I shared the regular sized, fried catfish plate for $14.99. It came with three delicious filets of fish which were healthy sized and well-seasoned. We chose fries and green beans for our sides with texas toast as the bread option. The fries were amazing. They were slightly crispy on the outside as they were fried with a tempura-like batter. Perfectly soft inside. The sauce that came with it was amazing! The green beans had pieces of bacon and potatoes and tasted great! My other-half had the bacon cheeseburger with fries. Wow, that was a big delicious burger! He particularly enjoyed the melted cheddar. So much so, he started to slow down after two-thirds but commented that he would push through to finish due to how good it was. My Mom had the fried catfish but chose fried squash and baked beans with cornbread fritters. The fried squash had the same tempura-like batter and a great crunch. The baked beans had a surprisingly smoky taste that definitely impressed. My Dad chose the grilled pork chop with a side salad and fries. Every bite was gone!
If you are looking for a small casual dining venue with home-cooking style cuisine, this is your place! We will definitely be back!

Oh man! I tried this place for the first time and let me tell you I see why it's always packed. Let me tell you if you never been here you get a menu,see what you want, place order at register,get cups and be seated and it's brought out to you. I couldn't even eat all my burger . Plenty of food/flavor ( in a good way) for the money! The staff was pleasant and welcoming. You definitely got to try this place.
