Southern Fried Rabbit

I got oysters and my husband a chicken plate. I never try and leave bad reviews but we literally had to throw it away. I got potato salad and it literally tasted spoiled.

Great food just slow service only a patio outside. Also for a place canned fried rabbit they only had 1 rabbit dish

I bought 2 $13.50 rabbit plate on 06/19/2025 and both plate was cooked way way too hard and the meat inside was burnt,I had to give the meat to my animals. Because I was not edible,I will never order anything from there again,whoever was the cook that day,it is not necessary to place on the deep fryer again,she does not know what she's doing. Very very disappointed with the service. Waste of money that could of been used somewhere else. I will let it be known to everyone I know

WOW!!! My first time coming here was a great one. I'm from Louisiana and I'm just visiting in Mississippi for the time being, and my mom was smart enough to say we should stop at this small place by the road. At first I was hesitant, but my mom made a point that places like these have the best food, and she was right!!!

I had these Philly Meat Fries and OH MY GOODNESS.They were delicious! I was even able to heat them up in the microwave hours later and they STILL tasted amazing! The woman at the front who served us was also just a blessing. My mom and my uncle said their burgers were amazing as well!

I will definitely come here again if I ever get the chance. It takes a little while to get here from New Orleans but I do hope I see this place in the future!

I actually helped the owner with her payment systems, but… I eat at her establishment every time I get a chance when I’m in Columbia. Her grilled chicken salad is outstanding. And she has a very rockin cook who can bang some fried fish out. She’s in a great location and the weather‘s been perfect so go have a sit and also try out those hamburgers and french fries of hers. They are outstanding.

Burger was a hit. The seasoned fries are phenomenal. Amazing staff and service.

Ordered a $10.50 poboy and got a 6"hoagie bun with shrimp on it. Poboys are made with French bread. Definitely not worth the price.

Don't eat at southern fried rabbit we ordered catfish and I don't know what kind of fish it was but it wasn't catfish and it was half raw and the hushpuppies were gummy in the middle, they were only half cooked. They will never get any more of my money.

They informed me that I could have the sausage dressed to my liking. I asked if mine could be dressed as a pirate. Other than that disappointment, everything was delicious

Great food! First time I went I came back for the next meal!Great menu selection, the choice burgers are cheap! Flying around $7-$8 when all the other shops are selling homemade burgers for $10-$11!Food just feels authentic, like you’re eating a burger at your 4th of July party. I recommend calling ahead and picking up drive thru (you can’t order in the drive thru).Rabbit sauce contends with the likes of canes sauce!
