I honestly don't know how this place has such a high overall rating. They MUST be removing the negative ones. I literally live in Breaux Bridge, LA. I've lived in the area my whole life. The quality of the food, service and atmosphere are very poor compared to Cajun standards. The seafood had almost NO flavor which tells me that it was frozen for a long time. The crab patties were store bought. My waitress was pleasant but would just drop my food and go. Not a word said. And I was one of only 3 tables seated in the whole restaurant so it's not like she was busy. The restaurant stinks like it hasn't been cleaned properly in a long time. The floors look and feel gross. The parking lot was full of trash that has clearly been there a long time. VERY disappointing experience. Needs to shut down and stop using my city's name.

I like Breux bridge, but I feel like they aren't really consistent with the quality of the food. There have been times I ordered the crab, and had plenty of juice in the bag, while others I spend close to $100, and it is almost dry because there's only a slight drizzle of moisture on the bottom of the bag. Also, the service seems hit or miss when dining in.

Food was cold and lacked flavor. Shrimp on poboy was over cooked and rubbery. Poboy served on what looked and tasted like hot dog bun. Red beans very little sausage and tasted like they came from a can. No seasoningin red beans. Side order of smoke sausage was cold. Onion rings followed the same - cold and lacking flavor. Food definitely did not represent South Louisiana traditions. The staff was very cordial when we picked up food.

Wings very salty, waitresses were very sweet, the garlic noodles were a 10, and the seafood was seasoned decently.

Went to Breaux Bridges in Columbus, MS on 9/14/25 for my birthday dinner. Food was good but had a somewhat inattentive nonchalant waitress. She put in an incorrect order, then charged us for her mistake after talking to her manager. Showed us a grill ticket of what was ordered, but the three of us dining all knew we ordered shrimp on one of the meals. We had to wait for silverware (plasticare) when that should have arrived before the meal. We had to ask for refills. When we got our ticket and the additional item was not charged, we thought she had redeemed herself, until we paid. The bill she brought out and the bill she rang up on our dedit card had 2 different totals. Thanks for not so good service. You won't see me or my family again anytime soon.

I placed an order online as I have in the past, I arrived to pick up order- stood there a couple minutes while watching young ladies stand around talking. I was finally acknowledged verified my order with valid text message & email. I was then asked for driver license to be precise” for verification of order. The little girl was very rude after arriving back with my I.D she was leaning on the counter on FaceTime expressing how “annoyed “she was, never came up to finalize the pick up. The staff is UNPROFESSIONAL & UNORGANIZED. Need better training. The little girl was so disrespectful. The” manager “seem to be a cashier NOT MGR WAS NOT much help at all. I MISS THE ORIGINAL BREAUX BRIDGE. If you’re not there to WORK- STAY AT HOME

I will never eat here again, The fact that I took my 3 kids out to eat and had the police called on me for them adding a $32 tip to my bill. When I was already paying a bill of $200 was crazy. The sign on the door said 5 or more people a 16% gratuity. I did not have 5 people with me and no to go orders. Only the food I purchased to eat there. After being their 45 minutes I was not able to eat my food because my 3 month baby was sleepy. Charging a extra $32 will result in me and my family eating else where and the acting Manager JoJo had a smart mouth.

So honestly this place probably should be shut down. It has gone down so bad lately. Took 10 minutes to get a drink. Then another 10 minutes to get to order. You use to get this amazing seafood but now I think they buy thier shrimp from the same place the buffet does.
The staff doesn't care and seemed bothered by you being there. There was hardly anyone there when we went. It is sad this place has been managed so poorly.

Apparently they are perfectly fine with leaving their phone off the hook and not allowing customers to call in. One phone number has been disconnected, no longer works, and the other just gives you the busy signal all day. Been trying to call them for 40 minutes and nothing!

We stopped by here, waited for 20 minutes at our table, no one greeted us or took drink orders. We just got up and left.

Service was excellent. The food not so much. Got the blue crabs. Small and so overcooked you could not get the meat out, was mushy.
