If you're anywhere close to this little ice cream shop, you need to stop in. If you're having a bad day, you need to stop in. God sent us there for a reason tonight. The ice cream is great, and the staff is even better.

Amazing atmosphere, friendliest manager I've ever experienced. I'm not a big fan of ice cream, I came in late evening to pick up a cookie monster shake for a friend. She recommended me a brownie (delicious and she warmed it up for me) and let me test a few samples of some things she thought I would like (to which I ended up getting a small). I mean absolutely amazing customer service. I didn't stop smiling until I left the shop. Will definitely be visiting again even though I dont fancy ice cream.

Awesome ice cream shop. The employees really made it special. You can get a shake just about anywhere but it won’t have the care that Southern Sweets shakes have. I am pretty sure they sprinkled a little bit of love on top. Best experience I have had in a long time! I will make this a regular stop anytime I return to Columbus Mississippi! They have home made whipped cream!

Very sweet and wonderful service and staff. However, the toppings are overpriced for the amount that is given per item.

This place and its owner are sweet enough to give you diabetes. The owner will fix you right up with your favorite treat — just trust what she says and you’ll have something wonderful. Our group had an over the top chocolate milkshake, ice cream nachos with cookie crumble and hot fudge, and scoops with nuts and caramel. All terrific, and all at her recommendation after learning what we like. She spoils everyone who walks through the door, so go support her local business.

Please update your hours. Every single time I come past 7:30 y'all are closed! It's becoming frustrating! When y'all are open it's amazing, but the hours aren't correct.

This is a must visit. The ice cream is great but the owner is so much fun. Take an afternoon to eat ice cream and play some games.

This was my first time to visit. The service was outstanding. I actually observed another customer who was getting ice cream takeaways that returned because she was having problems with her ice cream melting note. It was almost 100° so that was on her but the crew there was very accommodating to repackage her cones into cups and actually give her a couple of replacement scoops. You don’t see this sort of thing very often Next time I need an ice cream and I’m near Columbus. I will definitely go back.
