Hanks was suggested by a few people local to the area. For me, it was an ok place to eat. I do not like wet brisket (although it was well cooked), and the pork was dry and not evenly seasoned. The smokey flavor was there and was on point though! The sweet tea tasted burnt. Other than those personal issues, the staff was alright, and the place appeared clean. If you prefer east coast style sauces then you will enjoy the sauces here, I appreciate them but did not heavily use them. The baked beans were really good and had great consistency.

I would recommend this place to people in the area and go here with friends, family and co-workers.

There never open when they say they're open. Adjust wasted my time driving to them when it clearly says they're open

We decided to drive out of town and try a new BBQ place on the 4th of July. So we picked Hank's because of the reviews and the atmosphere in the pictures online. Their meats are all smoked out back in their smokers, and since it was the 4th, we had plenty of parking since everyone seemed to do pickup orders. All the staff was very nice and we were told to pick our own table. My wife and I had pretty much already decided on brisket and ribs when we walked in because, in our humble opinion, that's always the best way to find out how good a BBQ restaurant really is. Unfortunately for us, they were sold out of ribs but had some on the smoker. We ended up going with brisket and smoked turkey. Both choices were chopped and shredded, and we ordered potato salad and baked beans. They offered two sauces hot and mild, and they were both thin sauces. All in all, we had a good experience, and if we were traveling through one I would definitely stop by and try out the ribs.

Not overly impressed with BBQ the pulled pork is about 3 inches long and you gotta eat it kinda like noodles...for 18 dollars I'd like to be more impressed

The rib sammich is one of the best things I've ever had. The potato salad is the only potato salad I will eat now. Their baked beans are an elevated dish. My wife and I will only get BBQ from Hank's.
