This was my first time visiting Harvey’s Steakhouse, and it definitely won’t be my last! Our waitress Marti was absolutely outstanding — friendly, professional, and so attentive. She made our first visit feel special and welcoming. The food was fantastic, but Marti’s service truly made the experience MEMORABLE. She was so sweet, super attentive, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. Food was delicious, but her service made it even better! Can’t wait to come back and ask for her again! 🙌. She is an absolute ASSET.

The restaurant was very nice inside. Good variety of items on the menu. Maddie was our server and she was fabulous!
We started with the broccoli bites and they were delicious! My husband had the creamy chicken noodle soup. Great flavor but sadly, it was cold! My husband also had a chicken dish that was good. I had the grilled shrimp kabobs over jalapeño cheddar grits. The shrimp was excellent, however, the grits were also stone cold! I still give them 4 stars because everything had great flavors despite a couple of things that were not hot enough.

I visit Columbus (my hometown) about 3 times a year. We always eat at Harvey's two or three times when I am here. It seems to get worse and worse each time. Tonight was ridiculous. My dad ordered the prime rib sandwich and also a side of cheesy grits. The prime rib was cold as were the grits. We waited (and waited) for our server to come back around and we finally had to ask another server to get her for us. We asked her to throw it back on the grill so it wouldn't take too long as our food took forever to get out in the first place. She came back and said her manager was taking care of it. He brought it out and the meat was STILL cold. He comes back around and we complained AGAIN and he took it and put it on the grill this time to heat it up. By the time my dad got his food the rest the table was finished eating. We weren't trying to get a free meal, but you should absolutely buy someone's meal when it takes three tries to get it right and then they have to eat after everyone else. Back in the day, Harvey's was the place to be. There weren't many options and years later, it was nostalgic to go and eat there. Now there are many options and you need to step it up in order to stay in the game. Tonight was very disappointing.
Drunk woman in bar saying the f word and very loud. We were sitting in bar for happy hour and could not enjoy our meal because of her extreme loud talking and profanity. Told our waitress to go get manager and she said she couldn’t because they were in a meeting! I couldn’t believe it! We eat there at least once a week but no more! I left with a headache and stomachache .. Some assistant manager came to our table 30 minutes later and apologized for the woman’s behavior but didn’t stop it! Sorry but Harvey’s is no more!
First time visiting this restaurant and it seemed to be a nice establishment. Our server was luke warm ok no biggie, I ordered the ginger beer mock tail never got it salad was good we both ordered steaks well done my boyfriend even said to burn his! Steaks were definitely not well done still very pink in the middle also my boyfriend ordered the broccoli and after eating most of it noticed something that looked like a worm on it upon looking closer I saw that it was a maggot not one but two on his broccoli!!!! Couldn't be more disgusted. The manager came out and said that he couldn't be sure what it was and just looked at us like oh well.I then told him that I had pictures and showed him ,zoomed in and literally said no sir those are maggots, he quickly took the plate and receipt and just walked away saying we're good and never came back the serve did apologize.
Always a great choice. We are pescetarian and they always have good choices for us. We particularly like the veggie burger and the blackened catfish. Great happy hour.

Great professional staff. My first time there. Down home burger was one of the best I've had and I'm 72. Very reasonable pricing. 👌 pimento dip is a must try. Very nice place.
Visiting friends. Returned to the place my hubby asked me to marry him...20 years ago. Had the homemade cheese sticks (delish) and French Prime Rib sandwich (melt in your mouth goodness). Great meal, excellent service & nice atmosphere.
Reserve your table if you are going on a Friday or Saturday night as this place fills quickly. Definitely worth it. The cheese sticks nice & hand breaded, but missed that extra seasoning on top. Had one of the best wine books with plenty of variety from standard $40 bottles up to $500. Steak cooked to perfection.
Nice and dark in there made me hungry. Fish of the day was snapper. It was pan seared on the half shell (skin still on) and was 10/10. Sweet tea was dang good sweet tea.
This experience was not what I expected. I’ve eaten at Harvey’s in Columbus before and had a great meal and great time. On June 16, the service was not very good. We waited over an hour for our food. We had to inquire about our food and our new server was surprised by the time the food was ordered. Also a fly had entered the restaurant. Do better.
