What a treasure, that we have J. Broussard's in Columbus! We moved here about a year ago and finally made a reservation for our anniversary and weren't disappointed. Service was excellent and food was outstanding. We will definitely be going back.

Love all the old detail of the building, food was scrumptious and well portioned, owner is the chef and she is also the one that takes your order…truly unique and wonderful experience.

The chef and her mother turn out incredible meals. The young chef takes your order, heads to the kitchen to cook and then delivers your meal. Was here with my family for MSU graduation. The small intimate dinning areas in this 100-year-old hotel make for a fantastic family outing. If I lived in the Columbus area, I’d eat here often.

J. Broussard's family owned and operated restaurant is a hidden cullanary gem in the Golden Triangle. Kind service and vibrant fresh flavors made last night's dinner one to go back for.Never having dined here before, I asked for the chef's recommendation on a dinner selection; she was more than happy to share her facorites with me before hurrying back to the kitchen. Ms. Mary created an intimate and friendly environment as both bar keep and hostess while Chef Beth crafted our dinners in the kitchen. The plates brought to the table were a triumph in flavor. Fresh, colorful, and savory combinations that balanced acid, fat, and salt over well cooked protiens made for a dinner I can't wait to go back for. To boot, the dessert was I indulgent, smooth, and just simply devign. My singular regret is that I didn't know about this wonderful little nook earlier. Thank you Ms. Mary and Chef Beth for an extremely enjoyable and well crafted meal.

Magnifique!!! This cozy hotel lobby is the only place to go for a quiet moment with your standard coffee . No more hotel but the lobby is, well, wow. Feels like you stepped in the future of the past. All while enjoying scones, or the apple Danish. Just amazing taste.Parking: Old school downtown parking.jbroussards.com

This restaurant has 2 seatings and we were able to secure a 6pm seating. I was able to talk with the chef and her Mom (she works the front of the house and includes serving drink) and they have done a great job with the menu and answering questions. The bakery that has been going for 7 months is in the front of the storefront and has a wide range of foods for meals, snacks, and desserts. We enjoyed the whole experience and bought a lot of items back to our boat. My husband had the catfish blackened and I had shrimp and grits. Outstanding!!!!!

What an interesting place. You get seated by the chef, and what a chef she is.

Was in town visiting and had to try out their new bakery. The shop has a nice vibe and there was cool some artwork going up on the wall. I got a loaf of bread for myself and some goodies to gift my family. They also have some savory take and bakes from their restaurant. Glad I checked them out! Will be back, it's a great place for a sweat treat, or to grab a few as a gift.

We shared a fabulous evening here and thoroughly enjoyed the food. Service was on point and without prompting. The chef took our orders herself and cooked our meal to perfection. We will be back!

Favorite restaurant in Columbus. We have been dining with J.Broussards for almost two decades. Everything on the menu is amazing, seasonal cocktails are always delicious, and you can't leave without dessert-even if you have to take it home. Don't save this place just for a special night out. Every night can be a celebration. Make the reservation, try the themed menu nights, you won't regret any meal here. Bonus that the family that owns the restaurant is precious. We love J. Broussards.

Ms. Mary Broussard and her daughter truly know hospitality and the quality of food. The bakery that is open from morning till early evening is so welcoming with fresh pastries, desserts, bread, jams, chicken salads, cookies, etc. My husband and I have loved everything we've purchased and have vowed to try a few different things each time we go into J. Broussard's. We look forward to what will be available every weekend when we go.

Food is fair, but the management oozes liberalism and shuns anyone with different political and ethical views. Too many good southern restaurants near by to spend my money here.
