The shrimp was not good to me & was overpriced. It was not seasoned very well & looked/tasted as if it had been cooked earlier in the day & sat in a hot pot all day(mushy/shells falling off/watery) The potatoes & corn tasted as if they had been boiled in plain water. The sausage was good but its hard to mess that up. Deviled eggs tasted ok, just not my style. However 2lbs of mediocre at best shrimp, 4 eggs, one can soda & 2 beers should not be $63. Workers were friendly but thats not enough to make the food worth it.
Crawfish were awesome!!! Seasoned perfectly for me. The corn, potatoes, and sausage were great as well!!! Will definitely be back. Service was great and super friendly. Not the cheapest place to eat but you get what you pay for!!!!
It was really good. Service not so much. Never got refills on drinks. The remoulade sauce was some of the best I’ve ever had. The fried shrimp and oysters were great. Portions were small for the price and you’re only allowed one sauce even with the combo plate unless you pay for more. Also I do not understand the extra charge for credit cards. Next they will be asking us to help pay for electric. It’s part of doing business.
First time going there and it was wonderful I had fish and fries and it was delicious my friend had poor boy shrimp sandwich in a vote of jambalaya very friendly and service was very quickly.
Love the atmosphere and the people!! But if you guys haven't checked out their crawfish and shrimp you HAVE TO!!! And their combos are AMAZING!!!
Thought the price way a bit more than should be. 7 dollars for Jambalaya in a small bowl?? Very little catfish in the sandwich. It would be better if used fillets instead of strips.
Wow! You can taste the love in their food! Servers are happy and friendly.Simple, fresh, local and passion! A must stop!!
Me and my wife ate the seafood platter.wonderful..service fast..friendly atmosphere.and the owners one of my hometown buddy ..thank you LSS...
Pretty darned good with a couple minor drawbacks. The building is clean and inviting, with friendly staff and plenty of seating. The price is moderate considering they're serving seafood.I ordered the oyster poboy with fries and my wife ordered shrimp with coleslaw. The sandwiches themselves are very good, best I've had locally. The sides are disappointing premade affairs, (frozen fries, tub coleslaw etc.) and somewhat detract from the otherwise good food. The "egg dip" is fun and makes a nice appetizer. I'd like to see more original items like that. One really nitpicky thing that rubbed me a little wrong was the upcharge for hot sauce. Rather than having a bottle on the table which is usually standard they will charge you a dollar for two tablespoons in a cup.I do recommend the food, just skip the standard sides and bring a bottle of your own sauce.
Ms. Brenda was delightful as ever! All enjoyed the meal and the atmosphere!
