I visited Columbus earlier this week and was so happy to see this place was still open. This was one of my favorite restaurants when I lived in Columbus many many years ago. I was pleasantly surprised to find they have added a dining room. Their steamed dumplings are still the best!

Always greeted with a genuine and friendly smile. And that is saying something because we always come around 8pm, when the day is long and almost over! The food is fresh and the flavors are aromatic and delicious. Highly recommend.
This place had great food. The portions were large and the prices were reasonable. I will be back. It is in the parking lot of the police station.

Stopped in since we happen to be in town a few days for work. Prices are very low. Dinner Combo's of entree, fried rice and egg roll were around $9.99. We added soups, hot and sour, and wonton which were very good. The entree's of Kung Pao Chicken and Shrimp with Lobster Sauce. The Shrimp dish was very bland and in there was sirimi in addition to the shrimp. Just don't think imitation crab belongs in this dish. The Kung Pao Chicken had much better flavors and tasted very good

Disappointing Culinary Experience at China Royal RestaurantI recently dined at China Royal Restaurant and unfortunately, it was a rather disappointing experience. The quality of the food fell below expectations, leaving much to be desired. The flavors were bland, lacking the authentic taste and flair typically associated with Chinese cuisine. In addition, the portions were notably small for the price. The service was adequate, but failed to compensate for the subpar food. Regrettably, I cannot recommend China Royal Restaurant for a memorable dining experience.
