My daughter and I tried this restaurant for the first time yesterday at opening time. Plenty of tables due to the holiday season. I had ribete and my daughter had NY strip. Both were excellent and cooked just right. The baked potato was also cooked to fluffy perfection, but be forewarned that they put margarine on the pototo, which we dislike, so we brought our own butter and asked them to serve it plain. Salad was edible. Thrre is no atmosphere; it is a shed. Again, the steak was supurb. Go for the steak.

We were hungry and in town, so I googled - where is the best steakhouse in Columbus MS. This place was top-notch ranked. It doesn't open until 4pm, we arrived at 4:39 and there was a line waiting to get in. We almost went somewhere else ( did i mention we were hungry?). However, we got in line and the people in front of us assured us it was worth the wait, and we wouldn't wait too long. They were right on both accounts!! I will say, it is a whole in the wall ( but aren't they generally the best places). We both had the large ribeye with baked potato and salad. Everything was wonderful!! Becky, our waitress was attentive, friendly, and working her but off. We left there full as a tick, and very happy. We will return even with a small wait!!

We came in from Saint Louis and stopped here off of reviews . We get the server Marty . After ordering our food we basically got abandoned to where we had to chase down other servers for napkins , condiments and also my steak was under cooked . I ordered medium and got medium rare and even the server that wasn’t ours agreed and took it back . Steak came back still under cooked, so I guess I’ll cook it at the hotel . Steak was well seasoned , salad , bread and potato were tasty . I just wish I could’ve enjoyed my experience . Came down for my aunts funeral and on the first day here I’m disappointed . Hopefully it’s better places out here .
