This was our first time to go, and it was great. The view of Sardis Lake is spectacular. The food was great. I loved the family atmosphere. If you're looking for an up scale high society restaurant, keep looking. If you're looking for great food, friendly folks, clean, excellent service from the entire team, Holiday Lodge Restaurant is the place for you. We will be back!
The food was really good -- catfish wasn't overly breaded and their homemade thousand island dressing is the bomb! Service was also good, but the non-smoking section is clearly an afterthought.
The fish is always good but this trip we had burgers. I had the patty melt, it was great! my husband had a double cheeseburger that he enjoyed. We also got a side order of fried okra--let me tell you, this is the real deal, delicious!
