We've made many trips to Como Steakhouse and always enjoyed the food.. This night my wife and I went for dinner on a Tuesday evening and arrived before the doors opened at 5. We were the second couple in the door and were seated at the first table around the corner from the door. We both knew what we wanted and ordered teas. She ordered the 16oz Rib Eye, and I ordered the 20oz. After our meal, we paid with our VISA card, my wife signed the ticket and added a 20% tip ($25.67), bringing our total tab, according to their printed tab and after the tip, to $165.00. When we got home my wife was examining our copy of the tab. It CLEARLY has a line for a "TIP AMT:" followed by a line for the "TOTAL:". HOWEVER, we had also received an adding machine tape copy of itemized charges. While examining it, my wife noticed that the waitress had added $19.86 to to the total, and written in hand out beside the amount 18%. No explanation. Nothing. We were already charged an over 3% surcharge which came to $4.51 to cover COMO STEAK HOUSE'S charge for accepting our credit card. That in and of itself is BS to pass that on to your customers, but they do advertise that fee, and we accepted that. But they did not advise us they were automatically charging an 18% gratuity FOR ALL PARTIES, REGARDLESS OF SIZE. I called the following morning prior to them opening at 5, and left a message to advise them of the issue, requested a refund of my $25.67, and explaining that their charging us 18% with out advising us of it was nothing but THEFT! The woman/manager/whomever that called us back refused to do anything, other than to call US rude, (I guess for requesting a refund of what they had stolen from us), then hanging up on us without doing anything at all after we tried to explain to her that NO ONE in their right mind would leave an almost $50 tip for 2 steaks alone! We frequent Como Steak House and their sister restaurant's Windy City Grill. We've spent hundreds of dollars a month in the past at your establishments, but NO MORE! You won't get another dime of our money, and your food is not that good! There's plenty of other good steak houses that do not charge you a premium or practice deceptive practices and ignore your complaints while happily keeping your money!! Save yourself the long drive to Como, Mississippi. Stop in Senatobia at Delta Steakhouse. Their steaks are just as good, and their service is top notch. SHAME ON YOU COMO STEAK HOUSE! If you want to eat at an establishment run by RUDE, THIEVES, COMO STEAK HOUSE is the place for you!

Service not at its best, waitress not friendly at all. We would say “thank you” and she had nothing to say in return. Evidently 18% is added to everyone’s check without notice, and when we asked what that was for the response we got was “it’s gratuity, is there a problem.” Food was ok, except for being out of chicken.

We went to celebrate my sister's birthday a family of 16. A black fly was found cooked in the baked potato. The manager said it was part of the process. Let's not mention she had started eating the baked potato before she noticed it.

I am writing this review to make people aware of a few things. The prices have gone way up ( I cannot find a current menu anywhere) The larger steaks have seem to have gotten smaller. They charge an 18% service fee on everyone. They do not point out that they have done this and will gladly let you tip as usual on top of the 18%, The service now reflects that the tip is included, as in they are not as attentive as they used to be. They charge a fee for using a credit card. Still a delicious meal but everyone should know ahead of time those things I mentioned.
This is Monday night June 19th and there is no hostess. Was told no hostess on Monday nights and someone would be there shortly to check us in. We have been waiting 20 minutes with a crowd of others for a hostess just to put us on a list. I would think with the amount of business you would have a hostess on duty. This is a ridiculous way to do business. Hopefully the food willl make up for the lack of service.

My first time being in Como MS wanting to eat at this place and my 50th Birthday was truly a horrible experience. And my party arrived at 6pm. At 8:15pm we were walking out (over 2hrs of waiting and still no food) place not packed out at all. On a Monday night. So after inquiring about our order an hour later for the cook Cedric Allen to only go completely off acting very unruly about it. Very nasty attitude. Shouting out loudly that if they wanna get up and leave they can. With my party walking out they lost out on over $600 I still want to patronize this place but I refuse to due to the cook and his nasty attitude toward customers. No manger on duty.

Only place to eat steak. Can't be compared. Friends only want to go to Como Steakhouse when they visit. We are always disappointed if we go elsewhere.
