We have been going to Como Steakhouse for years and stay at the Como Inn. Today is my husband’s birthday and he wanted to eat oysters and steak. First, we ordered two dozen oysters- one fried and one raw. We were told that they were the last two dozen. The raw were good, but the fried were not edible. The bartender said that they are not as fresh on Saturday and were probably overcooked. So, we asked about being charged for the fried oysters. The most unprofessional and rude manager came upstairs to talk to us. She clearly has no idea what she is doing. We were told to leave and that we couldn’t go eat steak or go to Windy City Grille per the owner who we never spoke to. We will never be back. I won’t suggest anyone I know does either. As much as we love the Inn, we left and will never return.

Really fun place to find to eat in the middle of nowhere. We thoroughly enjoyed it and the surface was outstanding. The amount of food is enormous and quite delicious.

Great selection of food! Great pizza, sausage and cheese plate, onion rings and slider burgers! Ate there with Toddler Grands and they made a mess but no problem, they took it in stride and brought extra silverware for dropped ones! Waitresses interacted with the kids and made them feel included! We ate early and finished before live music began because of the kids , so check times if you go with kids.
Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly before live music began, might be an issue with Toddlers later.

Ate there today. Was charged 18% gratuity for 3 people. Our order was wrong, second server brought out a basket of sweet potato fries. Never saw the server again until end of meal, did not offer ketchup/refill for our empty drinks and yet I am to give her 18%. Not eating there again. I understand a large party but 3 people? I was going to tip 10% because it was bad service.

First time visiting and was horrible! I asked for cheese on my salad and shrimp taco, didn’t receive it. Also the taco was salty as HELL! When made the waitress aware of the issue she stated “ that’s fine”. Waitress was sooo nonchalant with not great caring customer service. When asked for the manager she had the same attitude, no extended apology or nothing! Manager just stated “ I will speak with her and the next time you come it will be better “. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING!!! I’m not the one to throw the race card however we were the only African American family in the establishment at that time however we always live by being kind, courteous to everyone and do unto others as you will have them do unto you regardless of the color of you skin.
Wonderful place to eat... Great food. BUT... they've decided to start adding 18% to the bills for no reason. Now, I normally tip 25-30%, but if they want 18% then that's all they'll get. (Keep in mind that a 'gratuity' is by definition optional!) I'm actually choosing to dine other places since this practice started. Shame on you Windy City. Your greed is costing you...

My friend and I were here today, sliders were good and cooked fine, we ordered onion rings and they were cold. My bill should have been $10.00 + tax nooo it was $19.00 and change after all the add ons that were not expressed. We also discovered there was an 18% gratuity we were not told about in advance. Normally I would leave $5.00 if 20% is less. Not today. I understand adding gratuity with larger parties. We were only table of 2. We were also charged extra for sauces that came with food we did not open or eat. Also charged for using a debit card. I will not come back
