Visiting the area and found Cafe Mike's. As a native Chicagoan, I found the unique sports decor fun and creative. The staff are all fabulous, friendly, welcoming, fun, kind! We ate here twice. The chicken strips, onion rings, burgers and sandwhiches are top notch! Popular with locals.

The cheese steak sandwich was superb! Points were lost on the crinkle fries though; they were left in the oil too long and thus detracted from the overall eating experience quite a bit. The waitress was friendly enough though I wonder if she looked at the food and concluded that she'd be fine if the overcooked fries were set down in front of her. Including tip, I spent $33 for 2 people to eat I've gotten better french fries at Burger King, McDonald's, Sonic, Popeyes, Wendy's and Checkers.

I can’t say enough good things about this place ! The service was unmatched. The food was excellent and the prices were great! We were visiting from Tuscaloosa Alabama and I have been talking about Cafe Mikes since we left ! We ate there twice and I’m debating on taking a day trip just to eat there again!! Top notch !! 5 stars isn’t enough !!

Service was AWESOME..our waitress was so nice and friendly..loved it..the only problem was our steak were not as excepted..they were cold on arrival to our table..it was taking back..but still had no taste and wete tough..but the manager was super nice and took care of our bill..we offered to pay for drinks and fries, but she said we didn't really eat anything..oh, mozzarella sticks were awesome..yes I will go back and try something different..but the steaks were a no for us..
