Food was not up to par. Smaller portions and my husband's chicken fried steak tasted like it was a pre frozen, pre breaded patty.

New CEO thinks they are too good for the classic logo. Food quality decline.

Seems like they have cut back on portions. But that's fine. I had plenty.

I stopped in to place an order a to go order. There was 1 person at register and another person talking to register person. He walked to find a person to assist with the order. I saw that she didnt want work/take order. A second person arrived at the register and ask me was i a member. The small section for string beans an broccoli had some juice. When I arrived home less than 10 minutes away. All the juice was in the bag.

Be happy

Just like every other crackerbarrel, but the staff here is very friendly.

We were there around 7 p.m. and we ordered country fried steak and mashed potatoes with gravy. The portions were so small. It looked like the split what was left between me and my husband because they didn’t want to cook any more. And it was just thrown on the plate. Our server was really sweet and attentive. He noticed the cornbread was burnt and brought us some biscuits.

Came here on my lunch break 08/11/25
They didn’t have the campfire steak lunch I had seen online, I had shown the server what I was talking about online but he didn’t know anything about it.. so I decided to order the chicken strips meal. The chicken was cold and dry. They offered to remake my food but my lunch break was almost over so I paid for my food that I couldn’t eat and threw it in the trash when I got to work.
Very disappointed. I hadn’t been to Cracker Barrel in almost three years for similar reasons. The lady at the desk suggested I get the app so I can leave a review and get a free dessert but I won’t be back so there’s no need for all that. don’t waste your time or your money.

Apparently we went for dinner at an hour where we interrupted the staff’s social time. They were laughing and having an apparently good time with each other, but customers seemed to be an inconvenience. They continued their interactions while acknowledging us just enough to get us moved to a seat. It genuinely felt like we were interrupting them, not like we were guests or customers. Other examples: Asked for a tea refill after leaving my glass empty on the side of the table throughout my meal. When she came to fill my glass, she still failed to notice my date’s glass was mostly empty and started to walk off quickly when I asked if she could kindly top him off as well - she gave a big sigh, then turned to fill his glass. Another, We specifically asked for biscuits, but were brought cornbread (another person/server dropped it by our table). My meal was dried out, like yesterday’s leftovers- the dumplings were like the last ones scraped from the pan, the chicken was dry and hard on the edges, none of it was more than lukewarm. The whole experience was so “not like Cracker-Barrel” from the moment we were greeted. It was surreal. I do hope this location can pull it back together as it’s the closest one to our home that we frequent, and I’ve appreciated the convenience since it opened. We’re going to give it a few weeks and try one more time.

Good food, good service. Chiny is an excellent server. Not sure why all the bad reviews on Facebook. Maybe grumpy people?

This location probably has the friendliest staff I've ever encountered at a Cracker Barrel. Everyone from the Manager to the servers was so welcoming and attentive. Because I believe the restaurant can do better I want to be honest about our food. I got the New York Strip + chicken tenders and my kids got the chicken tenders and steak fries. The NY strip was very tough and flavorless. Everyone's chicken tenders were tough and looked old. The kids' steak fries looked stepped on and they were cold. Even the sweet tea tasted like yesterday's batch. I spent about 64 dollars here today and just expected better for that kind of money. I know yall can do better on the food side so I hope to give yall another chance one day. Thanks!
