Outstanding service however the person who plated the food tried to pass off mush/dregs as green beans. What were they thinking 🤔 😳

We've been to cracker barrel a lot over the years...often when traveling...and typically for breakfast. We love the familiarity and the vibe and poking around at all the cute stuff either before or after our meal. We stopped here for dinner on the way home from a trip to memphis because it was convenient and on the way. It was TERRIBLE lol. The service was fine, and the restaurant itself was what you'd expect, but they were out of everything my husband and I wanted to order (3 different entree items!) We were kind of laughing about it...as we're the servers, bit seriously, that shoukd have been our sign to just go elsewhere. I ended up ordering chicken friend chicken because that's a pretty basic staple. It wasn't what i wanted because my other choice was unavailable...it was hands down the worst I've ever had. The chicken was way over cooked and rubbery, the coating tasted slightly burned and greasy and the gravy was congealed and flavorless. The whole meal was luke warm at best. I had a couple of bites ... and a piece of peanut butter toast for dinner when we got home. Do yourself a favor and maybe stick with breakfast here or pass this one by for a different option!

We were in Selmer, Tn Cracker Barrel. We waited 20 minutes for our food. Our food was cold when we got it and broccoli was crunchy. The fish was over cooked, it was a horrible visit and we never complain. This is the first time I have ever done this but I would think twice before going here.

I came to pick up an order for door dash for a customer who usually tips very well. So my order was supposed to be picked up by 420pm and at 440pm I'm still waiting on customers food! I had asked 4 different employees to check on my order for me and was told by each employee that it was being prepared. Just a few more minutes! Yes that was an untruth. There was actually another customer waiting on pickup since 3:15pm! He was not very happy. Neither was i, to say the I,. I will not be accepting any more orders from cracker barrel bc it made my ratings look bad and also made me miss out on a tip that I could have had, if the customer had gotten his order in a reasonable amount of time! And to top that off, when I asked for some napkins, I was told, if the customer asked for it, then it was in the bag. I'm like well there are none in the bag. So when I was told then there weren't any napkins, I'm like really!!!? You can't give me any napkins bc the customer didn't specify napkins in his order? You can form you own opinion as to whether or not you decide to eat here, but for me, I'm done.

The wait for seating was too long. They told us 20 minutes and it turned into 40. The service was just as slow. The waitress was willing to help us and very attentive but parts of our group didn’t get their food until part of us were already finished eating.
