Well, anytime Tarzan used the term JuJu, it was always - always - always - bad JuJu. This would be an excellent description of the food at this place. My companion and I dined at JuJu’s on 11/08/25. She got shrimp and grits and I had a bowl of gumbo. This was probably the worst meal I have eaten in a decade. The shrimp and grits had some type of white gravy on top of the grits. The shrimp were very small and looked like they were taken out of a can most likely to have met their demise by starvation due to their size. Also, the shrimp had a strong taste which with any seafood means not fresh. Her meal came with a choice of a side and she chose hush puppies. She received three hush puppies in a basket. It looked like a hidden camera prank. Three hush puppies in a basket - much like using a shopping cart at Walmart to get three packs of gum. The hush puppies were each about the size of a ping pong ball but much harder than a ping pong ball. I am unsure if a ping pong ball would taste better, but after the dining experience I now wonder. It was awful. My gumbo had the same small, starved, and fragrant (not in a good way) shrimp in a very thin roux type liquid. I did not see anything else in the roux, which at other establishments there is usually at least some existence of the trinity. I have literally made and eaten better gumbo from a package at home. It was awful. The service was pretty good, but the food was awful and completely overpriced. Besides the hush puppy stones, we did not eat anything fried. It appeared that most of the other customers were eating fried items. Maybe the fried stuff is better, perhaps frying is the best way to honorably dispose of shrimp which died of starvation.

Very overpriced for what we got. The shrimp and grits had Alfredo sauce on it, which is very strange and the catfish was just mediocre. We were disappointed after reading such good reviews. We knew that the restaurant would be a hole in the wall, and we were fine with that... But the window ledge next to the booths was extremely dusty with cobwebs all over the knick knacks that they keep on it, which wasn't very appetizing. We won't be going back.

About as fun a fish and seafood place as you might ever find so far from the Gulf. A local gem for Corinth dining. Catfish. Shrimp. Oysters. Crawfish. There's gumbo and etouffe. Generally good service-sometimes they do seem pretty busy and short of staff. But go for the food and the experience of a truly local place. Yes. Many of the menu items are fried but live a little! They only area where they fail--cold slaw. Not the best effort. Hush puppies are good.

I’m from Louisiana and I’ve lived here for 13 years and this is the first time I’ve gotten anything from here and I am not impressed! I got a cup of gumbo, Christa’s special and a side of new potatoes. The crawfish in the gumbo were extremely fishy tasting, I’ve never seen brown étouffée like what’s on the special and the potatoes had absolutely no taste. I got home and had to add seasoning to make it anything like home. The étouffée didn’t have crawfish or shrimp in it so it was just a sauce of some sort. I am not impressed and to be honest I’ve had stuff out of a box that was better. The only good thing is the portion size. I do not plan on going back!!

Traveling from Texas and visiting Shiloh National Park we stayed in Corinth and sought out places to eat, well this place was one that had great reviews and they were spot on. My wife had the grilled shrimp and I had the fried catfish and it ranked high on my list (and I love seafood). After dinner I had the pleasure of meeting the owners on the way out and they were some of the nicest people you could ever believe.

It took too long. We were there over an hour before we got our food. The food wasn't seasoned at all. The keylime pie was good.

Great little "hole in the wall" seafood shack! We had the fried butterflied shrimp again. Large, tender, and delicious!!! Give them a visit, friends.
