Food was great. Especially the Cole slaw and steak. Loved the turnip bites. Service could have been a little better. Drinks were not refilled.

The fries were cold, again, and the fish was either over breaded or overcooked. The ends were too hard to eat. We had 10 people in our party and the server stood at one end of the table and passed down our drinks, food, and tickets instead of walking around to set them down. Very disappointing to all of us and we won't be back.

We like to travel and eat at different places. We'll there are 2 fish house that we enjoy .And rivers kuntry katfish is one of the 2. Everything we go there it's as great as the last .So yes rkk gets 5 stars and thumbs up

I don't know who wrote these two reviews not this is one of the worst places I have ever been. They are constantly out of something offer no substitute. I have been here two times food subpar slow service .These places are a dime a dozen in the south.

Best sit down catfish restaurant in jones county !! Always friendly staff ,excellent food and service!! A must go to place if you want good catfish . Heard the steaks are excellent too , gona give it a try one day !!

This is a very simple place. The catfish is good. I also love the boiled shrimp. My husband likes the oysters. Coleslaw is good and you can get a baked potato at no extra charge. Their tartar sauce is excellent too. Most servers are nice and friendly. One or two not so much. One kind of seems like she doesn’t want to be there or waiting on tables. I’m not sure. They also have steak. I’ve had it and it was pretty good. We like coming here. It’s real laid back and country like. It’s way out of town too. We eat here every now and then. It’s very relaxed.

This place used to be great, the food was great and it was fair priced... They literally charged me $9 a piece for my kids food which consisted of 2 chicken strips each and a fist full of soggy french fries.. The food my wife and I had tasted as if it had been cooked in a microwave and the shrimp were extremely overcooked.. not acceptable for nearly $30 a plate..
