When i think about eating fish this is the only place I will go. I tell people all over the state if they are ever driving down 82 headed to the eupora/stewart area and they love fish to stop at wades place for the only fish, ribs, amazing delicious greens and my all time favorite the corn salad. You will leave so full that you may say a southern thing such as I need a stretcher to carry me out.

First time at Wades Place. I ordered a HB square box of butterfly shrimp for $7.00. I pointed it out to our waitress, a very nice young lady. She said it came with fries, which I didn’t want… anyway my husband got the buffet for $21 something so our total should have been about &30.00.
Driving home he said next time just get the buffet because our bill was almost $40.00!!! We were charged $14.00 for a shrimp plate, the the box I had pointed to. I didn’t care for the shrimp & ate only 2, but that’s what I ordered so it should have been $7.00! Not 14.00. I am very disappointed with Wades Place and hope they can correct this mistake ( we all make mistakes, & should own up to it) other wise it’s not worth going there to be overcharged - double!
We had brought 6 others with us who all had a buffet !

When I'm in the mood for fried fish and peach cobbler, Wade's Place is my go-to. Fish is always fresh and hot. Corn salad, coleslaw, fries, greens, lima beans, pickles, onions, hush puppies and more are available and worth the space on an extra plate. ? I usually eat my peach cobbler first, just in case. Yes, it's that good. They have a drive thru window for your convenience, should you need to get it and go. Also, I want to brag on how great their tea is. I drink unsweetened, with no sweetener and it can be difficult to find good unsweetened tea, not here! The tea is great and they leave a pitcher on the table for you. Thank you Wade's Place for the great food, family atmosphere and exemplary service.

Great place! Just be warned that if you come late you might not be able to get everything in the buffet (they ran out of ribs around 7pm and dessert by around 7:30pm, but still had lots of everything else)
