My fraternity brother lives in Clarksville and recommended this restaurant when I was visiting the area. OMG, the food was SOOO good. We had the catfish, cole slaw, pinto beans, mac&cheese, greens, fried okra, AND Peach cobbler.........Everything was DELICIOUS. If you have not tried or will be in the area, I DEFINITELY recommend. I will be going back whenever I am anywhere CLOSE.

There weee 6 of us in town to do volunteer cleanup after the tornado and decided to eat breakfast here. We are happy we did. The atmosphere, service and food were all really good. I will certainly be back!

This is exactly what I think of when I think of southern comfort food. I have always enjoyed what I have ordered.

Great ambience. Comfy, quiet, friendly atmosphere. Waitress was friendly and attentive. I had the chicken fried chicken with white gravy, my friend had the old south roast pork loin. Both were very good. Complimentary corn muffin wasn't that good, it was kind of dry. Salad was fresh and crisp, turnips greens very flavorful.

I like eating a good breakfast at a good small town diner. I heard many good things about this restaurant so I gave it a try. I felt rushed by the waitress from the time I sat down until the time I left. The food was ok. Thouhi would get more than 2 small straps of bacon the grits came with cheese on them I would rather to be asked if I wanted cheese on my grits but igo through it. Thought the menu said the fried apples came with the plate but was told either grits o apples. I would've substituted the biscuits and gravy. As I m still eating the waitress asked me was I ready for my check so I said yes. Then she came back and started clearing my dishes while I am still eating. Still no check but is clearing my dishes. I told her I will let her know. Another waitress came by and offered to refill my coffee. 20 minutes later 1st waitress ask am I ok like i have been there too long. So I then asked her do I go to the register or do she bring me my check. She brings me the check with the tray I put my card on the tray but she never comes back to pick it up. So I get up and bring the tray with the card in it to the register and placed it in front of her she acts like she does not see it then loudly gives me my total. I then reach over take the card out of the tray that sits in front of her, and give her the card to pay for my food. She gives it back to me there is no thank you, come back again, nothing. She definitely needs to work on her customer service. That type of service messes it up for the whole business. Even thou she was not disrespectful she was not a friendly. I do not want to spend my money at a business where I seem like I am a bother to be there. The ambiance was nice and clean and warm. The service needed some help. The other waitresses seem to enjoy their job. There is always one.

Stopped in for a quick lunch, place only had 5 tables filled, we are now going on 52 minutes with 0 food coming to the table. Food was decent, employees seemed nice but we were not gone until 1hour 10 min. Probably won't come back.

Went there when they first opened and again later with friends who were more impressed than I had been. A friend had heard about the restaurant and wanted to try it local eatery. I agreed and didn't discuss my previous experience. There was a nice group of diners, but it was not crowded, and our order was taken right away. After a long wait, we received our veggie plates. The only thing hot of the three veggies on either plate was the okra, we both ordered, but it was not thoroughly cooked. Our other food was barely room temperature. My mac and cheese was not edible. Three small servings of cold veggies and no bread cost more than 4 hefty helpings of hot veggies with bread at Cracker Barrel. I did tip, as the waitress was not at fault, but can't recommend the restaurant.

Amazing food. The best cobbler in town. The food was hot and fresh. I also enjoyed a nice cup of coffee. The service included a great big smile. I highly recommend Sweet P's.

Food was very good. It was very crowded but they were able to keep up with the demand and provide hot food that was pleasing to the eye. The staff is very nice and attentive.

We moved to TN from Texas and everyone in the family stated this was the best food we have had since we've been in TN. I had the liver and onions and turnip greens. Best I have ever had-didn't leave a bite! My hubby had the chicken fried chicken and swore that was the best he had ever had! We will definitely be back!
