Was delighted to dine there for over a week. Good food Good people great service. I think that their smoked chicken is better than Little Willie's. My boss loved the fried pork chops. I'd your in Flora check them out, they don't disappoint.

Not worth the prices
I really wanted to enjoy my visit to Annie M’s Café because I’d heard good things about the food and was looking forward to supporting a local business. Unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant from the moment I arrived.
When I pulled into the parking lot, I immediately noticed a car with a parking cone stuck underneath it — not exactly the first impression you hope for. Still, I went inside trying to keep an open mind. The food itself was okay — nothing terrible, but nothing special either.
The real problem was what happened while I was eating. From the dining area, I could clearly hear someone yelling and cursing loudly in the back of the restaurant. It sounded like chaos, and it made the entire atmosphere extremely uncomfortable. Eventually, the person I believe to be the owner came out from the back, visibly upset. As she walked past my table, there was a very strong smell of alcohol, which was both shocking and disappointing.
No one should be treated the way those employees seemed to be spoken to, and customers should never have to witness that kind of behavior in a dining environment. Regardless of how stressful running a restaurant can be, professionalism and respect should come first — both for staff and guests.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience left such a bad impression that I felt it was important to share. I truly hope Annie M’s Café can get better leadership and restore what could be a great hometown spot, because right now it’s being ruined by poor ownership and unprofessional behavior.

Chicken was good as usual. I observed frustration and anger from the manager. It appeared she was not pleased with the turnout. It was a very slow day. She was adding water to the macaroni and maybe milk to the potatoes. This was the second time I observed this behavior. As business owners, you know every day is not going to be busy, and the revenue will not always pour in. Better side selections, with a little more seasoning, would help.

This is a cute store front diner with a down home country atmosphere. The place was almost packed and you seat yourself. Didn't take long for them to take your order. Ordered the ribs, okra and potato salad. The ribs were cold and a little tough but the seasoning was good. Wasn't the taste I expected from the potato salad, more of a mayonnaise ranch flavor added to scalloped potatoes. I couldn't finish the little bowl they brought out because, well, it just wasn't potato salad. The fried okra was great. A little on the lukewarm side but still good. Could hear someone in the kitchen saying 'take the fish out of the microwave " so someone got nuked fish rather than fresh. Ribs seemed as though they were twice cooked or microwaved and still cold when we got our plate. Sweet tea had a bit of a Lipton powder taste and could have used a lot more sugar. Place is clean, decorative, and cozy. The check being brought with your food seems a bit like they're rushing you to eat and go and having to pay for a doggie bag is a bit much but understandable in today's economy. Fairly priced meals and clean environment. I'll eat the okra here all day long. Cold or not.

The restaurant itself is nice and clean as well as the restroom. Decorated very nicely, homey. The young lady that waited on us was one of the sweetest people I've had the pleasure of meeting. I would definitely recommend this place.
