I had the filet. It was charcoal grilled and wonderful. My husband had steak tips, which were great, too. They were just as good as my filet. I should have gotten the steak tips and saved $20! My brother-in-law's wife had shrimp & grits for the 2nd time. She said they are awesome!! I'll try that next time.
Love the atmosphere and the food was delicious. The blackened redfish with a crab cream sauce was fabulous and so reasonably priced. My husband's ribeye was to die for. The biggest ribeye he had ever seen and prepared to perfection. You gotta try it!
Bill's Creole and Steak Depot is a little off the beaten path in Flora, Mississippi, about 20 or 30 minutes north of Jackson, a few miles off US Highway 49 and just past the railroad track; you'll definitely need GPS. But it is definitely worth the trip. The steak tips are excellent, as are the loaded mashed potatoes and key lime pie. And the service is top notch.
