This place is over hyped. The prices are reasonable for sure; however, the only thing good was the slaw & the hush puppies, the fish was sooo BLAND it was making me nauseous. No hot sauce or tartar could make the fish taste better. NASTY to say the least. I will continue going to Berrys where the food is good, atmosphere is welcoming & the workers are friendly to EVERYBODY.

Catfish & coleslaw were good, fries were cold, hard & dry, hushpuppies were cold & greasy. Not worth paying for all you can eat, if all you can eat is a few pieces of fish & coleslaw.

Our last trip here for catfish.
Out of four pieces I had two that were horrible. And my wife had 1 1/2 just as bad. She used her tartar sauce to try to mask it.
The baked potato was hard. Plus it being wrapped in foil, when it gets cut by their knife before serving, it pushing pieces of that foil into the inside of the potato. You have to find and remove the foil so it isn’t swallowed.

My family and I stopped to eat at Jerry's on a Sunday well after the church rush. My honest opinion is the food was fantastic. The flavor of literally everything we had was phenomenal. I do wish they served pinto beans and pickled tomatoes with the catfish (as most catfish places do). I only gave 3 stars due to the service was 1 star worthy. It didn't take more than 20 minutes to finally get to place out order. The problem was once you got your drink and food, you're on your own. I'd love to know how you get a refill on your drink. Maybe you're supposed to go get it yourself. My wife asked for a to go box and she was told by our waitress that only the waitress could box up her remaining food. My wife was fine with that. The problem was once again, she never showed up and the busboy showed up to clear the table. Again, the food was 5 stars and the service is a definite 1. So, 3 stars seems appropriate.

I usually go 3 to 4 times a month and I never get tired of it. It is by far the best fish house in the area and is worth the drive if you don't live close. You will have a great time with friends and family or if you dine alone you will have fun people watching and the fashion police will have a field day watching all that comes by. It is truly a great place to eat and make great memories!!
