First time visiting this place last night. They were moderately busy but we were able to seat ourselves quickly. The service was really, really good. The staff was quick to take our order and checked on us a lot. The check was delivered quickly, so despite them being busy we did not have to wait a lot at all.
The food was pretty good and cooked well. As far as quality the only complaint is the fried shrimp was cooked a tad too long and was a little rubbery. Not horrible, but def was overcooked.
The main complaint is the portion size for the prices paid. With tip, my wife and and paid almost $50 and the serving sizes were tiny. The baked sweet potato was slightly larger than a bar of soap. The greens, though delicious, were maybe about 5 bites worth.
All in all, it was fine. But nothing truly spectacular warranting another visit.

My husband and I visited this restaurant while visiting family in Mississippi. We ordered fried catfish, hush puppies and shrimp There was a line of people waiting for the doors to open They opened on time We were immediately seated The waitress was attentive and nice Food was served quickly Food was hot fresh and perfectly cooked Tea was definitely southern sweet and perfect Prices were reasonable

This place is over hyped. The prices are reasonable for sure; however, the only thing good was the slaw & the hush puppies, the fish was sooo BLAND it was making me nauseous. No hot sauce or tartar could make the fish taste better. NASTY to say the least. I will continue going to Berrys where the food is good, atmosphere is welcoming & the workers are friendly to EVERYBODY.

Jerry's is a faithful top performer. If you want catfish that is consistently good and fresh for a reasonable price, go to the igloo! Jerry's has never disappointed.
Catfish & coleslaw were good, fries were cold, hard & dry, hushpuppies were cold & greasy. Not worth paying for all you can eat, if all you can eat is a few pieces of fish & coleslaw.
