The fried chicken I ordered was very hot but the sides were lukewarm. I ate it anyway. Later that day I started suffering food poisoning symptoms as a direct result of the meal I had there. I believe the sides were reheated leftovers
Thought we’d try a new, old reliable, (when it was out in the country) staple restaurant today. Same atmosphere as the old place, same paperbag menus, same friendly staff BUT the food was tasteless and killed. Not overcooked, killed! There was no crunch left in the carrots, peas or greens and the fried chicken was piping hot but severely overcooked and dry and at $20/head I expected better. I know they can do better because I’ve had better at their old location. This was my wife’s first visit and she said it will be her last.

Cornbread was delicious as always. Food was not good. They must have changed cooks.
Absolutley disgusting. Hamburger steak was a frozen burger patty. Everything was out of a can.staff were snobby. Should be ashamed of serving garbage slop like that.

We had the Fannin fried chicken with home made fries and corn and the Chicken fried steak with beans and mashed potatoes. It was great and more than enough.
