Fish and grits, smothered chicken, turnip green bites…all delicious!! I’m so glad I gave Georgia Blue a shot. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in Flowood… particularly for those collard green balls!

Had to give a one star because of the hostess attitude. I live in Phoenix Az and love to visit here when I come into town. Went in this afternoon at 6 to put a table in for 9 of us. Immediately the hostess got short and rude. She informed us that she could sit us at different parts of the restaurant but not together. That would defeat the purpose of eating together with family. We didn’t even mind waiting but she wouldn’t budge. There were 3 hostess standing there and they all 3 rolled their eyes and acted like we were a nuisance. This is the first time we have ever had such awful service. We left and went to half shell oyster house which was way more accommodating even though they had people standing outside waiting for their tables.

My fish was a little too salty. So was my mom's. She didn't eat hers as her health wouldn't allow it. I didn't eat all of mine either. The turnip Green bites were ok. I wish they'd had more greens inside. Maybe I'll try something else next time.
