Ichiban Asian Bistro & Go--Flowood

I was thinking of writing a detailed review, but everything about the restaurant just came coming back to one word: Average.

Great place for sushi and Asian food. Very clean and friendly staff.

Firrrrrst of all, the woman who just sits at the desk at the front (making you assume she’s a host or something) just looked at us like we were stupid when we came in, then finally told us we can sit ourselves. Food was not great, also the “server” who only brings drinks, ASKED “no tip?” for a tip when we payed.

Always a good experience. Food is always hot and fresh!

My father and I enjoyed our lunch date on Thursday, June 5, 2025. I ordered hibachi shrimp and steak with a side of noodles. The cook was very entertaining and did an excellent job. The portions were HUGE. It is honestly worth the price and you will have leftovers.

The food was okay. The restaurant wasn't that busy so the food looked like it had been sitting. The server was great. I would try it again during peak times.

Large selection of Asian foods that were well seasoned/flavorful, and restaurant has plenty of room and selection for just the family or larger parties.

Vegetarian options: Plenty of fruit and veggie selections for those on vegan diet.

This buffet serves all the usual goodies you expect at a Chinese buffet. Plenty of food turnover, so mostly fresh and hot. The only downside is that their sushi bar doesn't have quite the variety of the Madison location.

The best Asian buffet in the Jackson area (Brandon, Pearl, Flowood, Ridgeland). The one in Madison is probably my second favorite, but this one is absolutely amazing with great selections, fresh food, and awesome customer service. If you are debating between Pearl and this one, please come to this one. The hot bar + sushi is A++++!

Vegetarian options: Several options of fresh veggies and fruit + large variety of soups to choose from.

Parking: Lots of free parking. This restaurant is located in an area with other restaurants as well.

Very good food but very overpriced! Went on a Friday night buffet and it cost almost $200 for a party of 6 people. Won’t be returning here again.
