They were everything I’m a child of God and as we talked to the host we found out Jordan loves God too and he sang a snippet of my favorite song. It was everything I’m a 2X breast cancer survivor. I had just left a CT Chest scan I needed that uplift. Guess what everything turned out perfect I’m still cancer free Hallelujah. I will be going back.

This is my family’s favorite place to dine. I prefer the shrimp and grits, they are my go to. My son loves the chicken and waffles minus the waffles add French fries. The mimosas are good if you get the bottomless option you will get a good feeling. Lol

Service at this place is nexted to none waited over an hour for two side salads and a cup of gumbo. I was there 11/14/25. Tea glass was never refilled until they wanted a tip. Will never ever go back. Been there 3x,s bad experience all around. If this is a family owned business you better start paying attention. #3 strikes your out

I got the steak and eggs, which said marketplace for the price, nothing great about the meal, food was very bland, service was good, but when I got the bill it was $35 for steak and eggs, totally outrageous, I live in Brandon but I will not be coming back

My order was prepared wrong, and to fix the problem, they just scraped the unwanted items off and served it anyway. I was charged full price for a meal that I barely touched. Our third disappointing visit to Jo’s.

We picked here because they open at 7a and my son had a flight to catch .The waitress was friendly enough, , but we didn’t realize the cook apparently did not show up until 7:30. We got there before they opened the doors, were seated in just a couple minutes and order was taken, At 7:55 I finally asked if we could just get our food to go oh and paid $64 for breakfast we could not sit and eat.

Came to Jo's with the recommendation of a local. When I looked up directions it showed the restaurant being a lot busier than normal so I assumed I'd have to wait and it must be good. When I arrived, it was a ghost town. Only one couple in the establishment. From the outside, it looks very plain. Once you walk in, it was the old school 50s or 60s vibe with the floor, decor, etc. It could have better lighting. I was welcomed right away and the waitress was fantastic, very personable, checked on you just enough to make sure your drink stayed fill and everything was alright. She did an amazing job. Now, to the food. I was extremely disappointed. Being that you know they make it to order in a diner, and local diners are always known for great food, this fell way below my expectations. The app was indeed cheesy, but so much so, they were uneatable. The cheesesteak and fries should be easy enough to make, especially considering there were only 2 tables with patrons in the entire restaurant. Well, the fries were undercooked and still raw in the middle, I ate them anyway since you won't get sick eatting a raw potato, but I couldn't finish the fries. Then the cheesesteak....the bun is way to large and hard for a Philly steak, and I know, because I grew up in Philly. The steak, instead on being shaved thin steak was like tough steak nuggets placed on the sandwich with barely enough cheese to call it a cheesesteak. This will sound harsh, but with the 100s of cheesesteaks I've eaten across the country, this is without question, the worst one I've ever had. Finally, if it couldn't get worse. I ordered a chocolate shake for dessert. The shake was good, but at $7 for a 16oz shake, its a rip off. Avoid the shake and go to a fast food place and get same quality shake, twice as big, for less. Now I don't like to give bad reviews, and I hope it is taken as constructive criticism. I am sure their breakfast is amazing as all the reviews say and maybe just an off day, but based on this visit, I have to say avoid Jo's for dinner, but if you do go, please avoid the cheesesteak and cheese fritters.

We've had good meals here before, but this past Saturday was so disappointing. The quality of the food was just as basic as it could be. The cheese grits were extremely oversalted and inedible. The server was apologetic and offered a substitution so I opted for the hashbrowns. They were dry and unappetizing. The seafood omelet had adequate seafood but was overcooked, and the egg was hard and rubbery.

My wife opted for the chicken breast, which was over-fried and hard crusted. The only thing really passable as being good was the French fries.

Again, I'd like to stress we have had good meals in the past. But whoever they have cooing in the kitchen now is either undertrained, or uncaring.

Edit to add: The waitstaff was courteous, kind, attentive and apologetic.

I had lunch at Brandon location. Nice experience. Will go back! Banana pudding was like grandma’s! ❤️

The breakfast here is always excellent. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The food is cooked to perfection and seasoned perfectly. I would definitely recommend them.

Pancakes were large and undercooked, basically oozing with batter. French toast was also undercooked, my wife could only eat the edges. Ordered a small bowl of fruit, and the blueberries were molded. I asked for scrambled eggs, it was just fried… had to scramble it myself on the plate, which is not the same.

The server was nice so we didn’t give her a hard time, but the people in the kitchen need to be supervised better to prevent this terrible experience.
