I want to say something captivating but “Knock Me Down, Good Lordt!” doesn’t play hard enough as a Top Notch Compliment. There is no shortage of “Q” places in my neck of the woods. Kenova surpassed any Barbecue I’ve tasted before with the punch that each item on my plate had to be originally made and finished in their own kitchen. All that in a ToGo bag to boot. Husband ate earlier during lunch so it was my turn to pick a place to grab a bite for our Roadtrip home (Memphis Area) Every bite Hummy and close my eyes savory. Ordered - Pulled Pork Plate, Piit Beans & Crispy Brussels, their Potato Salad and Cornbread. Sorry, no photos.
We eat here frequently, but I tried to place a to go order, and Debbie was a bit snippy. I didn't order that day. Customer service matters.

Ate here for the first time the other, and cannot wait to go back. They take to go orders as well. The pulled pork was perfectly juicy and tender, and the green beans were fabulous. Those bad boys have never seen a can for even a minute! Sautéed fresh with all the garlic goodness!

The meat was good but the sides were disgusting. The pit beans were sour, my salad was sour, the potato salad is just red potatoes with sour cream. The Bbq nachos were good. Felt cramped in the restaurant.

Me & my wife went today after someone highly recommended them and it was excellent in our opinion!
Off top our server Kate was very welcoming and accommodating and made our experience just that much better!
Now to the food, we had the “Almost Heaven Platter” that came with 3 meats and 2 sides.
And also got another 2 meat and 2 side platter to try everything.
So we had ribs, pulled pork, brisket, sausage, burnt ends, & smoke wings. My wife had for sides the Mac & cheese and fried okra with garlic bread …and I had the brisket chili, greens, & corn bread. We had their house ice tea as well! And for dessert we got their banana pudding which was another for two people!
Taste wise…There wasn’t anything that we had that wasn’t delicious!!! Highly recommend!!! I mean highly!!!
I think this is the best BBQ restaurant in the metro area. Everything I ordered and ate was 10/10! We got the brisket plate with Brussels and okra, and 2 burnt end plates with Mac and cheese, potato salad, beans, and brisket chili….. with toast. Ordered on DoorDash Everything was flavorful, fresh, and hot. I cannot stress this enough, EAT HERE! You won’t regret it!

They are very attentive, and the buffet will change different dishes every day, and the taste is very good ~ I don't know what happened to some people online, and the new ones have new tastes. You can try it, maybe there will be different surprises.

YUM YUM YUM YUM! I have never had anything bad here. I am very partial to those brussel sprouts!!
The coleslaw was soured. The okra had long human hair on the top and side of the bowl. The chicken was undercooked, and the cheese was soured in the quesadilla. The table was wobbley, and for just under two hundred dollars, I do expect better. I hope others have a better experience. I will not return. Our server was very kind, attentive, and apologetic. Great server.
Amazing bbq! Will not go anywhere else after having this for 4th of July 2025. Will happily drive from Madison to indulge in this! Looking forward to coming in soon and trying the Banana Pudding!
