My boyfriend and I came here on a little lunch date, and the food here was amazing. I got the pepper steak salad with a loaded potato soup. Personally, I loved the combo; both dishes were great. My boyfriend got a hamburger, which was bigger than an Applebee’s hamburger and better. I’m not sure why the reviews are so low, but the food and service were excellent. The restaurant seemed very clean, and our server, Derenda, was so sweet. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone and the pepper steak! I also love the atmosphere !!!

The service has fallen way off. I don't know what this was on the silverware and napkins, but when I requested new ones they weren't much better. The only explanation I got was rushed staff😩 I ended up sharing silverware with my daughter.

We more than understood, being the dining time of December 23rd, there would be crowded and overly busy restaurants everywhere; however, what we did not understand was the restaurants NOT knowing this would happen! Everywhere was understaffed and overwhelmed. Any person working in the food industry should be be aware they will be overworked during November and December each year. Longhorn Steakhouse in Flowood, MS should be ashamed of the way they allowed their serving staff 100% ignore anyone the seating staff allowed inside to eat! After 20 minutes of watching and listening to the bar staff walk in front of us and never acknowledge our presence because they were too busy complaining about having to work, we just left. There was no one waiting to be seated when we entered but was told there's a 29 minute wait. So we asked if there was seating at the bar thinking we'd at least get something to drink. Nope. Not happening! This is the 5th time of the 6 times in the last 3 years (yet this time was the only expected busy time) I've been to this particular restaurant, with this exact same result. Needless to say I will never go back. I'd say 5 of 6 visits with a 50% bad service rating for me is justified in that statement.

Food was great as always!! And our server Akina was amazing also!
They wouldn't seat me at the bar. My steak was over cooked and it didn't look like a ribeye cut to me. Way too much black pepper used on mystery steak. Chris my waiter was impeccable

Ana was amazing, she turn the bad experience into a decent dinner with her good service. The ny strip overcooked (Ana did offer to bring me a new one. I said no, you know sometimes the chefs take it too personal and I no longer know what is in the plate ) sticky floors. And more. Ana did offer me a free ice cream because it was my birthday.
