Called in an order and waited a little longer to pick it up, just to make sure I didn’t have to sit in there and wait. I walk in and givemy name to the lady at the front, for my order. Confusion is the look that was all over her face, she then asked what number I called and I showed her. It was the right number. A few more members of the staff appeared, trying to figure out where my order was. By this time, 10 minutes had passed, which is what I was trying to avoid. So the manager comes out and tells me they can make it in about 10 minutes. I declined, didn’t act like a jerk, but they could tell I wasn’t pleased. This is the 2nd time this has happened to me. I can guarantee it won’t ever happen again. They’re normally our go to when dining inside. Even then, the service hasn’t been very good at all. That did it for me. We will start going to the New Mexican restaurant across Lakeland after it’s remodeled. A bit of advice for Papitos, make sure whoever y’all have taking orders over the phone speaks, at least, decent English. I’m guessing this is where the disconnect came from.

Cookie cutter Tex mex. Bland. Same ole same ole. One and done for me but undoubtedly not everyone else as it was crowded. Did not see a single Hispanic person actually eating here as a customer. That says it all.

Been a while since Ive been here. The service was great but the food was just okay. I got the Arroz con Pollo(rice with chicken) and i guess I didn’t read enough but it was a little different than I expected. I got a plate of rice with lettuce and sour cream and then I got a fajita plate with a pounded out piece of chicken that was cooked with vegetables and topped with cheese. Because the chicken, vegetables and cheese were all on the same plate the cheese was pretty watery, from the water that cooked out of the vegetables. Overall the meal was okay but not really something I would order again. I tried a bite of the tamales and they were okay. The queso and salsa were good but the chips were not fresh.

Sat for 10 minutes during a slow lunch yesterday and we weren't even greeted. Walked out and won't be back, not the first time but will be the last. Spend your money at any one of the other 3 Mexican restaurants in the same area. All of them are much better than this place.

Very excellent service! Everyone was nice and food was great! My sister is very picky with a lot of stuff but she loves this restaurant alot! We'll be back more often.

Went after a pageant, we had a party of 6 and called before to make sure they could take us/make sure there was no wait. we walked in and got seated immediately. Straight off the bat our server was extremely slow to come and get any drink orders, our chips (which came quickly) we’re already gone by the time our drinks arrived. she gave us extreme attitude, and was just straight up rude. next, it took her at least 45 mins to come back around and take any food orders. 5 happy plates and 1 order of shrimp tacos. another 30 minutes later all 6 plates of food came out cold. at this point the entire table was fed up and exhausted. so all we wanted to do was pay our tab and leave. the tab came and we were going to split it 50/50. 50$ with cash and 50$ on a card. but unbeknownst to us she charged an extra 50$ on the card we used and still took 50$ in cash. so she took 50 extra dollars (which we assume, she thought was her “tip”) when she did not deserve any sort of tip. do not come eat here, they obviously hire anyone with two legs and a pair of eyes. many better options in this area, especially for mexican food.
