All around good. I'm not necessarily a fan of what I would call down home food in what I think of as an upscale restaurant. But you can't knock the food or the service. It was excellent.

My husband and I had a wonderful first experience here today. I have a gluten allergy and they were very accommodating, and thorough in their explanations of what is gluten-free and what is not. The only thing that would make this slightly less than a five star review, is that all of the gluten-free options were at the higher price point of the menu, whereas the non-gluten-free items had significantly more inexpensive items. It would’ve been nice to have a little bit more variety to choose from. The atmosphere was lovely, and the music was not too loud. And the service was great. Definitely ask for the waiter Von when you make your visit! We definitely will!

Nice atmosphere. Good service. Nice fate night location. However I was really disappointed by the food. My friend loved the brisket and I probably should gave stayed with the meats but went seafood with the shrimp and grits. It was ok at best. Definitely not what someone from Charleston SC would expect for shrimp and grits. Had several very large shrimp with barbecue sauce on top of greens and a small scoop of grits. It might just be the local way of doing it. While I was disappointed others may find it more to their liking.

Enjoyed a very nice brunch. Excellent service, good food and the jazz band made it a wonderful experience. Highly recommend. Need reservations if coming for Sunday lunch. Limited parking but big parking lot next door.
