Unfortunately appears to be shut down. Was looking forward to it too, as this used to be my Aunt and Uncle Dubois old grocery store I was wanting to see what the new owners had done to the place...
Delicious crab cakes. But tea is too sweet. Friendly, helpful servers.Good music and atmosphere.UPDATE! Now closed for good !

If you are looking for a place that still puts passion and love into their food then you have to come to The Filling Station. The owners are hands on with this family business and that is where the difference is. I have been looking forward to coming here and I was not disappointed. Support local small business and bring your family to The Filling Station for some great Southern food. Oh and save some room for desert. Heck start with desert and save some room for food.

We enjoyed our meal very much. We ate approx 6p on 5/4/18, Friday Night. We had nachos as an app and a couple of beers. For our meal, we had steak and fried shrimp. Both were delicious! We got mixed veggies (squash medley), baked potatoe, mushrooms and french fries. The menu stated crinkle cut fries. They were, but very run of the mill and were not fried to a crunch, but flimsy and soggy. The fries were the only thing we did not like. We will go again and just not order fries. The service and atmosphere was enjoyable.
