We were heading out for sushi and then realized that the place that we were going to was closed on Mondays. So I googled something close that was open and we took a chance and boy was that the right move. Heaping piles of crab claws, baby octopus, crawfish, and our waitress was fantastic. I live in Philadelphia, but was visiting my daughter in the next time. I am in the Jackson area, we will be coming back.

Food was absolutely delicious!! Service was subpar and the music was very loud from a personal speaker - bass was VERY loud.
Altogether though the food made the visit completely worth it!

Second Visit to Juicy Seafood – Very Disappointing

This was my second time dining at Juicy Seafood, and unfortunately, the experience was nothing like the first. I ordered the exact same meal as before, but this time I requested Blue Crab. What I received, however, was not Blue Crab at all—it was gumbo crab, or soft-shell crab. To make matters worse, I ordered a half-pound, but the waiter brought out one and a half pounds instead—something I never requested.

When I tried to address the issue, the waiter went back and forth with me and was quite loud, which made the situation uncomfortable. I decided to stay calm and wait until my mother finished eating before asking for the check. When I finally saw the ticket, I was shocked by the total—the soft-shell crabs were extremely expensive!

I spoke with the manager, who went to get the restaurant manager. He claimed the crabs I received were Blue Crabs, but then contradicted himself by saying they were the same ones used in their soft-shell crab po’boy. At that point, I asked for a refund because he had basically admitted they weren’t Blue Crabs after all.

In total, I ended up spending over $190—$100 initially and then another $90 or so. My mother enjoyed her meal, but I won’t be returning. The only positive note is that the Dungeness crabs were absolutely delicious.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!! I ordered the #4 from the website and chose to get crab legs, shrimp and sausage. The crab legs were so tiny it’s ridiculous. It was also about 5 shrimp in the bag with a BUNCH of sausage. I was highly disappointed in this establishment. I wish I could upload how small the crab legs were. Absolutely treacherous and disgusting.

i give 5 stars from this seafood place. top notch. i got seafood snow crab with cajun and garlic seasoning hot. it was delicious. will be back and highly recommend.

The vibe threw me off a little at first since we were seated in the bar area because it was a little loud, but I’m actually glad we were! Our bartender was also our server, and she was outstanding—drinks, napkins, and everything else arrived right on time. Her margaritas were amazing and made completely from scratch, which made the experience even more enjoyable.

The food was really good. I was honestly shocked by how delicious their chicken tenders were—they were perfectly seasoned and crispy. The portion was perfect. The seafood was flavorful and fresh, and every dish had a great balance of seasoning. Even though I’m usually picky at seafood places, I was genuinely impressed. I would absolutely come back again and would recommend stopping here if you’re in the area!

Shay and Cameron are awesome! They are always friendly, provide great service, and answer any questions I may have. The food is always good! If I ever have an issue with an order (which is rare), they immediately handle it! I like to come in when Shay and DJ Cam are in; if they aren't, I'll come again another day. Please visit this restaurant, and ask for Shay or Cam; they will treat you right and give you exactly what you need! 😊😊😊

Shay is always the best! She always provides service with a smile and maintains the BEST atmosphere in the bar and DJ Cameron is keeping the vibe going. Shay makes the shots and drinks so good! If you are looking for a spot with a GREAT DRINKS BY SHAY!! Stop in and asked to be seated with her and have yourself a good time.

Food was excellent! Ordered the Queen Combo. The only complaint is about service. Our server didn't check on us enough and we needed drink refills.We patiently waited for almost 10 minutes and had to ask another server for refills.

Our group had a mix of delicious and terrible drinks and the food was a mix of “okay” to “delicious”. All of the fried food tasted the same but everyone that got “a bag” said it was delicious.

We had the BEST waitress named Callie! She was so attentive and had such a contagious and happy attitude even though our little group was a madhouse! Next time we go we will ask for her again and again! 20 out of 10 service experience!

Terrible service!! Poor service from the waitress! We were seated for almost 30 minutes before the waitress took our order!!!!!!! Never asked once did we want a refill!!!!!When I tried to order a certain something on the menu she told me if it didn’t come with potatoes or corn but on the menu it said it did!!!!! 😡The crawfish were terrible!!!!

I ordered two shrimp & okra gumbos through Uber Eats. The first order arrived spilled in the bag. I was refunded (minus fees & tip), so I reordered and added a note asking for lids to be secured.

The second order was worse. The gumbo spilled again, and I discovered why — the plastic container lid had melted from the heat and weight of the food, breaking apart into the gumbo. I found chunks of melted plastic inside. On top of that, it was the wrong gumbo (chicken & sausage, which I don’t eat).

I called the restaurant to report the issue and to see if I could be compensated in food for the additional fees I will be out. The manager told me they “can’t go around giving people free food.” It wasn’t until I said I would report this to the health department and take the matter further that she suddenly offered me a $30 gift card. I declined, because all I wanted was a safe, correct order and to be made right for the money I lost in fees.

⚠️ This is a serious health concern. Customers should be aware of unsafe packaging and the lack of accountability in management’s response. I will also be contacting the health department so others don’t experience the same.
