I used to eat at El Torero in the early days back over 20 years ago every week with my family and we loved it. Tonight I rediscovered it on door dash. the beef enchiladas were the best I've ever had in my life and the refried beans were excellent too. This is my new everytime I order Mexican restaurant. very high quality food and attention to detail. absolutely delicious!

I try to order things on the menu at Mexican restaurants that I have never tried and let me tell you.. I just ordered the Caldo De Res on doordash and boyyyyy. it's everything that American pot roast wishes it was. it's a soup but its got fresh veggies and pot roast. literally the best thing I have eaten in years. My new favorite. ❤️❤️❤️

Service is always top notch friendly every time we’ve eaten here, probably 25 times or more. Never been disappointed. My wife’s favorite is Special Lunch #1 with Poblano and soft Taco. I’ve always enjoyed their Shrimp dishes and had Taco Salad with Shrimp. the Shrimp are always cooked to perfection, a good size and plentiful.. Never anything but delish reasonable meals.

This place is AMAZING! My husband and I recently discovered this spot and have not once been disappointed. The staff is beyond kind and hospitable and they make us feel welcomed and like family when we arrive. The food is fantastic, we always try new things and everything we have tried has been better than we could have possibly expected. This is our most favorite Mexican restaurant in the state and we highly recommend it! My husband asked me to include for fellow chorizo lovers that his favorite dish is the Burrito Adobado!

They were not prepared at all for this holiday. Staff was running around with their heads cut off. No one particular waitstaff per table. Everyone was doing everything: the lady brought us to a table that wasn’t clean. My friend and I cleared the table, wiped it down in order to set down. We placed the dirty dishes, spray bottle and towel on another dirty table. 15 minutes later a man came and took drink orders. 20 minutes later we asked for menus. Then a different man brought the drinks. An hour in a lady came and took our order. 30 minutes later my food came, but my friends food didn’t. We asked 2 of the waitstaff where her food was and the lady said the kitchen was crazy. 15 minutes later I kid u not her food came from the opposite direction of the kitchen. We asked for a second drink, 15 minutes later it came. We asked for the bill, twice, literally 15 minutes later we received it and to top it off when we were leaving we had to wait yet again 15 minutes to pay!!! From 6pm to 9pm for just 2 people. They were very unorganized. But I understand it was a holiday.

This is the friendliest, family owned business I’ve been in a long while. We are always greeted and treated like old friends. And the food? Don’t let yourself miss out. Never had a bad meal there. They cook their beef, chicken and shrimp for fajitas, quesadillas and tacos to perfection!
Never overcooked and tough like most others.
Go give them a try. You won’t be disappointed.

It was our first time trying this restaurant and it was not a good first impression. We ordered to go and was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. We ordered the El Torero chicken quesadilla, the shrimp Quesadilla Mexicana and the fish tacos. We received 2 steak quesadilla, we wanted chicken and shrimp quesadilla and the fish tacos were dry. The queso dip was good but I wish we could have gotten what we paid for. I don’t think we will be returning any time soon.
