The food is always on point but today the customer service was not acceptable. The cashier and other lady working talkative and nice at first then as I was sitting in the corner eating I overheard them( lady with the glasses and the blonde haired girl) telling the customers that had come in how annoying I was etc, thinking I had left. If you felt that way, you shouldn’t have smiled in my face and made conversation and then talked down about me to other customers. Very unprofessional and quite frankly just rude. Do better.

The employees warned me how the food was being handled. They'll apparently sacrifice your health to save on repairs.
I was told not to order anything with chicken because their refrigerator was broken and they had left the meat out at 70 degrees for hours at a time, and it wasn't a one time issue. Another time I come in there is was like a plague of flies all over the place. The kids that work their take absolutely forever to get anything you order done as well phones rule the world. But atleast that comes out right. Keep in mind this place is never busy. So the extra time to make a smoothie is kind of mind boggling.
This place is a heartbeat away from a health violation.

Tropical smoothie Cafe is a chain smoothie shop that sells smoothies bowls wraps sandwiches flatbreads quesadillas salads specialty sides and breakfast sandwiches. They also have a kids menu. The selection is very good food wise and works breakfast brunch lunch or dinner. The service has always been good mostly every time I have been. The atmosphere at this one is very nice as this I believe is one of their newer locations. Be sure to have smaller bills though I had a relative with me who had a bigger bill and despite having a dining area full of people the restaurant was apparently too poor to break a big bill so I had to buy their food for them hence the 3 stars in the service category due to that one detail in the lack of service department. Other than that I would say they are a very nice place to grab a healthy meal though inconvenient if not properly prepared with small bills.

I liked the smoothie. It's hard for me to rat s big breakfast and a smoothie helps me start my day with energy.
There were only 2 workers inside when we walked in and although, one of them did greet us and said I will be with you in a second. A second turned into more than 5 minutes. There were no customers inside,except us 2 and 1 lady that walked, in right behind us to place an order. The worker that greeted us was all over the place, including it looked like she was training the other worker. Yet, somehow us 3 customers quickly turned into 12 waiting customers. She even rotated out taking orders vs the other worker making orders. These orders consisted of walk-ins, door dashes and mobile orders. It was some other very agitated customers that recognized how long this was taking. I finally received my smoothie but, was missing my 2 food items. Now, we are just waiting, the worker that pretty much knew everything she is working her butt off, but, there was no organization nor structure to her solo chaos. Another worker finally came and clocked in, black lady, kind of heavy set. She wasn't friendly at all and she might as well have just not clocked in. She wasn't any help to the one worker(white lady, glasses, a cap and I think tattoos) that was doing everything by herself. Mind you, I'm observing all of this and the interactions with other customers, because I'm still waiting on my food. Finally we get our food and can leave. I looked at my location App to see how long I had been there. 20 minutes. Suggestion: With structure, the lady working would be great. Training needs to happen not during a peak time. I'm still trying to figure out why was the the black girl there. Oh, and my food was cold, I didn't even get to eat 😡 but, I refused to go back and wait. It's a chill atmosphere and fast working people. I go a lot on my lunch break or after work. I always get the same smoothie and it's always good. I do believe though every thing is just powder with ice so if you are look for high nutrient smoothies recommend making smoothies at home because almost every where is either powder or large quantities of added sugers. Rather then that though it's a great place.
