Tropical smoothie Cafe is a chain smoothie shop that sells smoothies bowls wraps sandwiches flatbreads quesadillas salads specialty sides and breakfast sandwiches. They also have a kids menu. The selection is very good food wise and works breakfast brunch lunch or dinner. The service has always been good mostly every time I have been. The atmosphere at this one is very nice as this I believe is one of their newer locations. Be sure to have smaller bills though I had a relative with me who had a bigger bill and despite having a dining area full of people the restaurant was apparently too poor to break a big bill so I had to buy their food for them hence the 3 stars in the service category due to that one detail in the lack of service department. Other than that I would say they are a very nice place to grab a healthy meal though inconvenient if not properly prepared with small bills.

There were only 2 workers inside when we walked in and although, one of them did greet us and said I will be with you in a second. A second turned into more than 5 minutes. There were no customers inside,except us 2 and 1 lady that walked, in right behind us to place an order. The worker that greeted us was all over the place, including it looked like she was training the other worker. Yet, somehow us 3 customers quickly turned into 12 waiting customers. She even rotated out taking orders vs the other worker making orders. These orders consisted of walk-ins, door dashes and mobile orders. It was some other very agitated customers that recognized how long this was taking. I finally received my smoothie but, was missing my 2 food items. Now, we are just waiting, the worker that pretty much knew everything she is working her butt off, but, there was no organization nor structure to her solo chaos. Another worker finally came and clocked in, black lady, kind of heavy set. She wasn't friendly at all and she might as well have just not clocked in. She wasn't any help to the one worker(white lady, glasses, a cap and I think tattoos) that was doing everything by herself. Mind you, I'm observing all of this and the interactions with other customers, because I'm still waiting on my food. Finally we get our food and can leave. I looked at my location App to see how long I had been there. 20 minutes. Suggestion: With structure, the lady working would be great. Training needs to happen not during a peak time. I'm still trying to figure out why was the the black girl there. Oh, and my food was cold, I didn't even get to eat 😡 but, I refused to go back and wait. It's a chill atmosphere and fast working people. I go a lot on my lunch break or after work. I always get the same smoothie and it's always good. I do believe though every thing is just powder with ice so if you are look for high nutrient smoothies recommend making smoothies at home because almost every where is either powder or large quantities of added sugers. Rather then that though it's a great place.

The ladies were nice. I went today in the evening. The food was hot and fresh.....I ordered a flatbread chicken club. The smoothie/sandwich/chip combo cost me a **gasps**$13. I was expecting $20... This may be my new fav place to replace the other deli sandwich shops. I am a picky eater and was pleasantly surprised. ?????
My daughter and I visited the Flowood location on Memorial Day. Upon entering, I checked to see if they had a sign that they wouldn't take bills over $20, as I had a $100 bill. I ordered our food, total was $27. The nice young guy working behind the counter said he would have to ask the manager if they could accept it. The manager never approached me, but yelled out that she had been "burned" by counter fit bills and couldn't accept mine lolol She could have walked to the counter and formally told me instead of YELLING across the restaurant. I will NEVER eat there and send my friends and coworkers to the Pearl location. Way to manage a business ma'am.

I usually have a good time at this location but the last time i went it was terrible, nobody would take my order, and when i got my smoothie it was all watered down. and the wait time to get my smoothie was so long too, im disappointed in this since my experience is always great. thank you.

I came to the store to get my usual, the Thai salad. When I made it home, the wrong dressing was put in both of my bags. I tried to call the store to let them know I would be on the way because the wrong dressing was given to me and my family; however, there was no answer. By this time it was 8:30. I then had to drive back to the store to find the door being locked at 8:50, which is 10 minutes earlier than what the store hours are. When I knocked on the door, the person looked at me and proceeded to walk to the back. She then took 2 minutes before coming to the door with help. After they opened the door and I told them about how I received the incorrect sauce, they took the incorrect sauce and replaced it with little remorse shown. I’m highly disappointed and dissatisfied with this experience.

3 mean girls, extremely rude. They eyed us down and then went to the back to talk about us. They weren’t tying to hide it either. Rudest cashier ever, she was cold and mean. She talked quick with us and stared us down. It was not only extremely unprofessional but just mean. They made my drink wrong and when I told them she just told me no she didn’t. They had their boyfriend in there too which don’t help, since he stared us down too. The environment was so unfriendly and the fact the were talking bad about us is so unprofessional, considering we came in nice and friendly towards them.
