I found this gem while traveling through Forest enroute to Montgomery, AL. I was sitting in the parking lot wondering if I should go with someplace familiar and common or try this place out. Boy, am I glad I went inside! This place has a vibe that only small-town, family-oriented people can fully comprehend. Ordered my steak and, based upon my order, the bartender made a modification to my order and she hit a HOME RUN! This place is a NO-BRAINER if you're anywhere close by! Food quality, atmosphere, service and just down-home hospitality with a twist of pleasant sarcasm from the bar faithfuls! Go there if you're close, this place is special!

The last two times we have ate here I have found food in my hair. When I call to talk to someone I'm told that there's no way it's their hair. According to them it has to be mine. ALTHOUGH I DO NOT have black hair. I'm not talking about a piece on top of the food. I'm talking about SEVERAL pieces deep in my salad.

Very friendly folks. Night shift recommendations only. Lunch staff is horrible and extremely in need of hospitality training. Great place for dinner go elsewhere for lunch. Entry front or back. Plenty of parking. Once inside pick a seat anywhere you like. Scan and order your food or wait for friendly staff to take the order. The bar is in the back of the house. Sit where you like you will be fed. Great food definitely made to order.

A Must Try If You Ever Find Yourself In Forest Mississippi! You Will Not Be Disappointed!! Everything Is Amazing & There Are So Many Options! Food Is Prepared Fresh, But You Can Browse The Gift Shop While You Wait & On The Weekends They Have Live Music!! We Absolutely Love It!!

It took over 2 hours to get our food!!! And it wasn’t that great- the redfish poboy was overdone and the bread was not fresh. One of our party had to help serve water because I guess it was too much to ask? The poor waitress was not knowledgeable about what food was available and couldn’t remember substitutions when she came back and said they didn’t have crab cakes left. This place has potential but no one has invested proper training in their staff or cook. Im assuming they only have 1 cook back there based on how long it took for the food to come out. It was over an hour just to get salads!! Customers deserve better food and service for the price. Overpriced, uneducated , inexperienced. The live music was a treat just a tad loud but still nice.

Food was subpar at best. Mushroom and onion gravy had no mushrooms. Asparagus was inedible. Received our appetizer after we finished the main course. Ordered loaded baked potato and got a plain potato. No butter just plain. The only thing really edible was the fried green tomatoes. I’m guessing they came out of a bag already made. Service was slow. We were the only ones in there eating and I had to ask for drink refills. And their AC must be broken because their thermostat said 79degrees. So we got to eat right next to a dirty fan. Not a good experience. Will not be going back.

I do enjoy going to the Foothill’s, I love shopping around, they have very good products. Their menu/lunch specials/sandwiches/hamburgers ect… are delicious. I didn’t care for the lunch buffet, I don’t know if we got there too late or what, but it was dried out, I did enjoy a few things that was on the buffet, but over all, I will not be getting the buffet anymore. The staff is very friendly and I will continue going back as much as possible. 😃

I was not impressed at all. The food wasn't great. I had their chicken tender basket. It tasted and looked like what one might commonly get from a Sam's Club or Walmart. It was very bland and hard and crunchy. My Grandson got a wrap and he said it was not good at all. Not worth the price we paid. Should have just gotten fast food or convenient store food.

I visited this establishment, for the 2nd time, just a day before the 4th of July. Upon entering the building, I was blasted with heat due to a lack of air conditioning. I expected to sit with my family and dine in, but I was informed that buffet was the only option that day. I looked over the buffet (hot dogs, fruit, ect) and the food looked well past its designated time of expiration. Everything looked as if it hadn't been disturbed or touched for HOURS on in. The flies that were flying around enjoying themselves was also not favorable. Unfortunately, my family wasn't able to eat at this establishment as we had planned while visiting family within the city.... I will say my very first visit here was satisfactory, and I enjoyed the shrimp poboy that time.
