Total disappointment. This restaurant was recommended by another Hispanic. We ordered the picalonga appetizer and asked if we could replace the ears with sorullos, the answer was yes, when the dish arrived it did not have the sorullos or the ears (we were not expecting it because we had substituted them) we had to wait for them to throw away the sorullos at that moment , it seems that they had forgotten. For the main course I ordered smoked chops, white rice with beans, ripe plantain and avocado. This is where I realized that the chop was inedible, you couldn't bite it, I gave my husband a try and he couldn't even. The rice was raw and the avocado was all pitted as if black parts had been chopped off or something. When the waitress came by to ask if everything was okay, I gave her my plate without any problem and told her if she could take it away since the chop was too hard and the rice was raw, I didn't eat anything! When they gave us the receipt, they charged us for the sorullos separately after they told us that we could substitute them and they charged us for the dish that we did not eat. I asked the waitress if there was a way to give us a discount for the food we didn't eat and she told us that the lady had already given us a discount of $1.70. It was disrespectful to me since it was returned in full and I only asked for a discount. All sides were charged separately. The smoked chop is $16.95 and only includes the meat. Another person at the table ordered a pizza empanadilla and it was frozen kikuet. For an appetizer, two drinks and ONE dish you pay $64.13. Being Hispanic living in the United States I always like to cooperate with one's affairs but this was a total disappointment.

The service needs to be a little better. It wasn't crowded but more attention from the waitress on clearing plates and empty drink glasses would have been great.Also both people sitting at the table should be served together and not 1 person already eating before the other who hasn't gotten their food. Overall a little expensive.
