This place wasn't open.

This restaurant came highly recommended. When I arrive for dinner, there was a notice on the door that they were understaffed and they were temporary closed. Unfortunately, I did not get to experience the food. I heard so much about. Next time I’m in the area, I hope they’re open.

The country gentlemen was a bit nostalgia for me. It’s the kind of restaurant. My father and my older brother tend to affiliate themselves with. I had chicken fried steak come to find out. They actually make their own instead of using frozen patties from Cisco or somewhere. The side salad as one of the side dishes was kind of plain looking, but their homemade dressing was pretty darn good. I don’t think the mashed potatoes were instant, but they did taste like instant mashed potatoes. All in all a nice little old restaurant that I’ll frequent again

This place would have gotten 5 stars but for the fact the woman at the cash register was extremely rude and combative. Everyone at my table said their food was awesome and it did look awesome. Hubby loved the gyro. However my poboy was soggy/wet and unappealing. No reason for it to be soggy and the breading not sticking to the shrimp as I ordered it plain just shrimp and bread. Let them know and she acted like we were crazy. I was very nice when I was telling her. She had to go look at it then come back and tell me you can’t fry it in water and just wanted to argue. I just stared at her dumbfounded and then walked out. I wasn’t going to argue. We had a wonderful dinner wonderful waitress and like I said everyone else’s food looked amazing just the one woman’s attitude soured the whole experience. (She did remove it from our bill)

Mashed potatoes and gravy were cold. Green beans were tough and dried out at the ends.

Ordered the steak and Italian green beans steak was disgusting and under cooked. The Italian green beans were soaked in spaghetti sauce. When we told the server, she spoke with the manager and did nothing. Not a discount or even another option. I had to stop at a subway and get a real meal...subway was delicious

I LOVE this place. The food was delicious! I had the gyro with fries and coleslaw. Our server was fantastic, as well as the rest of the staff. Very warm and friendly people and place, with an amazing selection and delicious food! I can't wait to go back!

OMG this place is so good!!! The catfish was perfect, appetizers were amazing. The desserts looked great too but I didn't have room this time. The service was spectacular, they made hamburger steak instead of country fried steak and took it back no questions asked and less than 5 minutes later the correct item was brought out. The country fried steak is a real one not frozen patties, and it was over half the plate. Fried okra and sandwiches were all great, our glasses never hit the bottom!

Went from delicious to disgusting. Burgers are plant-based instead of real, cheese sticks are not that good. The food is disgusting. Please, do better. People prefer real burger patties, not that nasty “healthy” plant based crap.
