We were traveling from Ohio back to our home in Louisiana and wanted to eat lunch at a local diner and I found Rick’s Diner on Google. The food was really good. My husband had the Nasty Burger and I had the Philly Steak. Mr. Rick and Mrs. Geraldine were the sweetest and provided the best service. They both showed a passion for their diner and their community. I highly recommend Rick’s Diner. We will stop by again when traveling this way. Also, two other positive impressions were when two young adults came in separately and showing respect addressed the patrons and Mrs. Geraldine and said yes ma’am to her and while the diner may be older, both the diner and restroom were very clean and tastefully decorated for the Fall. We felt very welcomed.

Get off the highway and drive the three miles here. Totally worth it in enthusiasm and service alone. Plus cool small diner with great burgers. Not just a burger joint though. Do yourself a favor and leave Wendy's and McDonald's to the uninitiated.

I first walked in and the hospitality was outstanding. Small town with a big appetite, this is the place to come to. Very easy to find on the map. Menu was easy to read people walking in with a smile on their faces.
