Went to Captain D's on March 21st, 2025 after anticipating the visit for my first since leaving town in 2005. Wife and made our orders inside. We ordered the Sampler platter with fries and green beans which came out cold. We ordered a soft drink at $3.09 and was told after we paid that the ice machine was out of order. We paid with a debit card and was informed that it would show back into the account in 3 to 5 days. We wanted to cancel the order but the cashier had the cooks remake the order which was confused with someone else. We received the order and had to pay again with cash and the food was awful. Totally disappointed with the whole experience.

Every time I visit Captain D’s I always get me some butterfly shrimp . I had made two trip separate days. On a Friday I had ordered bf shrimp they were cooked to the crisp. ( Hard & brown) I had went back on a Monday they wasn’t fully cooked. I don’t know who is the cook after 5 but they needs to get it together.
I think the rudest thing I ever seen is you sitting in line waiting to place your order at 9:30 and they turn the board off and no one comes out and let you know that they're closed June 27th 2024
